Reminds me of the "Carver Curves" in Clackamas Oregon on the way to Estacada Oregon. I am surprised that there isn't videos of that road up on You Tube.
I would love to run into some of these cars when I film my stuff but Cali is so broke and people (other than riders) are such pussies. Cool vid good stuff!
If you can't drive that road without crossing the yellow line, then slow down! I just drove it today in my '07 Escalade, had a ball, was doing over 60mph between some of the curves, and didn't have to cross the double yellow! Six people have died on that road so far this year, and one of them was a head-on collision caused by someone crossing the yellow. Tractor-trailers are known to traverse the road as well, since NC doesn't have any restrictions on them doing so! Be safe!
I have driven NSX's and two different Ferrari 355's. Trust me, the guy in the ferrari wasnt fully into it. A NSX would never hang with a 355, in turns, or accecleration. Not a chance, unless it had a supercharger
Nice vid - love the nsx - never driven 1 but have been a passenger in 1 thru the Adelaide hills, South Australia. Just some advice - loose the wind noise on the vid.
As a owner of a NSX (driven it over 50,000 miles) and a Ducati rider (just rode the Dragon in August) I wanted to point out that it's clear why the NSX is following and not leading. Trust me the NSX is holding back and with the right driver....... well check the history of the NSX. It can do the Dragon like it's on rails. Dam hard to catch even on a DUCATI !!!!!!!!!
Man, NSXs are no freakin joke. I'm an avid 'vette fan but I adore the NSX. I'd never own one but I respect the hell out of them. They look god damn mean, and go rather nice too :)
For anyone who lives in MD..there are a few good roads around loch raven resevoir like this that are great....i take my stock 5speed civic and have a good time (though...im never going very fast :(
When ever you find a great driving road, never tell anyone about it. Keep it your little secret. Just ask the guys who "discovered" the Dragon, I bet there kicking themselves now because its a world famous road and crowded as hell as a result.
there's another road similiar to that, not as closed off though, starts near Brentwood, TN and runs down into the Florida Panhandle. now, THAT is a fun road.
Lots of Tennessee Highway patrol on that road now, its a 30mph speed limit but they'll pull you over for just about anything, its better to stay on the NC side of the dragon.
they should just close this road and turn it into a track

Great post! Love those NSX's--even more now. Noticed a lot of my favorite open-wheeled drivers favor them. Thanks for the drive.
