Well since you got that result from motor oil, try WD-40 this may be the 1001 uses that you can take credit for, but I wil be trying the motor oil even though it only lasted a short while

I use fine auto body polish and auto paint sealer glazer to finish off. Been using that combo for many years with perfect results.

I tried wd-40 and it worked pretty good for a month or two and then must have dried up completely. I will try the motor oil way.

I have heard that toothpaste works too. But never have tried it. My Impreza has glass headlights.
