  • Well since you got that result from motor oil, try WD-40 this may be the 1001 uses that you can take credit for, but I wil be trying the motor oil even though it only lasted a short while

  • Sweet. I just saw an advertisement for having this done. Thanks for sharing.

BTW - Your Channel is Rockin'

  • Great tip ! I just bought a kit for $20 to fix mine and it was a pain .

  • I use fine auto body polish and auto paint sealer glazer to finish off. Been using that combo for many years with perfect results.

  • I tried wd-40 and it worked pretty good for a month or two and then must have dried up completely. I will try the motor oil way.

  • OKey never mind I should have waited till the end

  • Does it just coat it or does it actually take it off?

  • I have heard that toothpaste works too. But never have tried it. My Impreza has glass headlights.

  • Oh man...you tricked me. I thought you meant....LOL I'll be trying this tomorrow.

  • Great Tip!

  • I've been using Brasso, but the motor oil looks like less work and no static build-up. :)

  • Very cool, keep us posted

  • Fine steel wool should work too.
