The lesson I heard you speak at for the Easter Vigil was the best sermon I have ever heard in an Episcopal Church. It was like fresh air that everyone has been craving. One more thing. Can we have some more nuns? Thanks!
I can only speak my "truth"--that I'm a gay man, deeply committed to my church, and indeed to our Diocese of Chicago. I don't need an Indaba group to tell me whether I'm fit in God's eyes. I was born gay. Period. I wish those at Lambeth would listen to gays and lesbians directly. They'd hear about the pain of being continually marginalized by the AC-and to some extent ECUSA-as a result of how one was made. I only hope that LGBTs-lay & clergy-will tell their stories. It's how real change happens.
Thanks for this. There have been opportunities in the educational sessions to hear directly from gay and lesbian Christians. Several bishops from places that claim no experience of gay people have taken advantage of the opportunity. We also hosted a couple of evening events with Bishop Robinson and invited members of bible study groups to come to meet him. Again, the response was good. We need to talk to each other directly. We are all God's beloved.

Thank you so much for your messages from Lambeth, Jeff! I hope that you will use YouTube to speak to the Diocese when you are at home as well.
