Actually in all reallity buffy was mentally insane if you saw the episode where she had to pick between being the slayor and living with her mom and dad, they showed after she chose that she chose the wrong choice. AND she did share her power, with all the other potential slayers in season 8 I believe.

faith didn't die. she came close to death twice. the first time was when buffy stabbed her, and the second time was when she fought angelus on angel season 4. faith all the way! lol.
Buffy died for a few minutes in season one and Kendra was called. Kendra was killed bu Drusilla and Faith was called. Buffy died again but since Faith was still there was a slayer so no one was activated. Faith has never died. Now all potentials are activated so until all of the slayers are dead no more slayers will be called unless by magical means. in the future before Frey is called as a slayer there will actually be a time without any slayers. Perhaps because of Willow's spell.
unless becuz of her spell all babies that could have been potential slayers get the power when they r like 7... idk...but there r always potentials...
no. the season 8 comics explains that part. eventually, all the slayers die and no other slayer is called after them because the channel of slayers ended when willow cast the spell. only like a thousand years later or something, a new slayer is called whose name is fray. i didn't quite get how she got called maybe someone else can add on to this.
At least the characters of Angel never became so obsessed with their own power that by the end they had lost nearly all their charm. WE GET that Buffy has the burden of being chosen. WE GET that Willow could kill everyone if she wanted. But season 7 insisted on rubbing these in our faces over and over. Great video, btw.
season 7 just wasn't the best.... One the one hand, great that every girl who could be a slayer, was going to be.. On the other hand...that undid the entire thing that buffy was based on.. Remember season 1 and 2...Narrator Giles: one girl , she alone will fight the vampires demons and forces of darkness!..well you get my point.
I'm mostly po'd because at the same time the writers take a crap on the 'powerless' characters. Xander gets an eye out and loses his love, Anya gets impaled by Buffy because of the latter's God complex (and dies later of course), Giles gets shut out, and Spike's torment continues as if we hadn't just watched 3 seasons of him getting kicked when he's down. In view of all this, the whole idea of 'sharing power' is just bs.
I'm not sure I follow the last poster, but Buffy didn't share anything, The power that is bestowed upon the slayer is form the essence of a true demon that had been captured. The Shadow men were going to give her more of that power than any slayer had ever had before but she did not want to give up anymore of her humanity to have it. But Willow tapped that power and divided it up equally to all potentials in the world. Buffy did nto lose or gain any.
Very true, but in at least one of the commentaries I recall someone making such a remark; that Buffy finds completion by 'sharing' power. They say the same thing about Willow, though, despite the fact that her own power later increases exponentially. btw, pointing out that these two did not actually sacrifice anything gives weight to my previous post.

Actually in all reallity buffy was mentally insane if you saw the episode where she had to pick between being the slayor and living with her mom and dad, they showed after she chose that she chose the wrong choice. AND she did share her power, with all the other potential slayers in season 8 I believe.

yeah kendra did die in season 2 of buffy! i didnt say she didnt! and yeah faith did come back in season4 and 7 , in the final buffy episode all the potential slayers got changed into full fledged fully powerd slayers by willow.

I like this video! The song seems to go so well with the whole emotional-self sacrificing side of the show.
I didn't like that Buffy decided to share the whole Slayer power. So...when one slayer dies does that mean an entire new generation starts up?

It`s been a while. I`m pretty sure Faith died, at least once. So did the Black slayer with the Irish/Haitian/African/Patoise accent. What was that all about? Anyway. There should be at least 2 new REAL slayers running around. Perhaps with fake accents. Grrr Argh!

faith got put a coma once by buffy... kendra the vampire slayer did a jamacan acsent with an irish tint heh, and theres more than 2 slayers now... theres about 18 hundred now!

I thought Kendra was killed. As in game over, no more quarters dead. I do believe Faith got out of her coma on Angel and was wacked by the Beast. I should know this stuff but I can`t recall the details. She sure wasn`t around for the grand finale. The 1,800 other slayers are wanabes. If I am right, there should be 2 new, "real" slayers

faith didn't die. she came close to death twice. the first time was when buffy stabbed her, and the second time was when she fought angelus on angel season 4. faith all the way! lol.

Buffy died for a few minutes in season one and Kendra was called. Kendra was killed bu Drusilla and Faith was called. Buffy died again but since Faith was still there was a slayer so no one was activated. Faith has never died. Now all potentials are activated so until all of the slayers are dead no more slayers will be called unless by magical means. in the future before Frey is called as a slayer there will actually be a time without any slayers. Perhaps because of Willow's spell.

no. the season 8 comics explains that part. eventually, all the slayers die and no other slayer is called after them because the channel of slayers ended when willow cast the spell. only like a thousand years later or something, a new slayer is called whose name is fray. i didn't quite get how she got called maybe someone else can add on to this.

At least the characters of Angel never became so obsessed with their own power that by the end they had lost nearly all their charm. WE GET that Buffy has the burden of being chosen. WE GET that Willow could kill everyone if she wanted. But season 7 insisted on rubbing these in our faces over and over. Great video, btw.

season 7 just wasn't the best.... One the one hand, great that every girl who could be a slayer, was going to be.. On the other hand...that undid the entire thing that buffy was based on.. Remember season 1 and 2...Narrator Giles: one girl , she alone will fight the vampires demons and forces of darkness!..well you get my point.

I'm mostly po'd because at the same time the writers take a crap on the 'powerless' characters. Xander gets an eye out and loses his love, Anya gets impaled by Buffy because of the latter's God complex (and dies later of course), Giles gets shut out, and Spike's torment continues as if we hadn't just watched 3 seasons of him getting kicked when he's down. In view of all this, the whole idea of 'sharing power' is just bs.

I'm not sure I follow the last poster, but Buffy didn't share anything, The power that is bestowed upon the slayer is form the essence of a true demon that had been captured. The Shadow men were going to give her more of that power than any slayer had ever had before but she did not want to give up anymore of her humanity to have it. But Willow tapped that power and divided it up equally to all potentials in the world. Buffy did nto lose or gain any.

Very true, but in at least one of the commentaries I recall someone making such a remark; that Buffy finds completion by 'sharing' power. They say the same thing about Willow, though, despite the fact that her own power later increases exponentially. btw, pointing out that these two did not actually sacrifice anything gives weight to my previous post.

Sarah is knocking on 40. Not gonna happen, The fact that she played a 16 year old girl just a few years ago was rather amazing. David doesn`t look like a 28 year old vamp these days either. Yeah, what we want and what is realistic are two different things. People age.

Now come on. Angel was quite good till Darla got knocked up. The whole Connor thing realy blew. Connor & Cordie? EEeeew! Jasmine? Retarded! The final season was absolutely amazing! I wish TNT could run Supernatural or Torchwood in a daily loop rather than Charmed. That show is flat out bad. I guess we will have to agree to disagree on Charmed.
