I think you may be drowning in makeup. You seem to have a lovely personality and seem like such a clever girl but please you look like one of those kids on Toddlers and Tiara's. Not appropriate. Please consider being age appropriate...you know Sponge Bob and jelly bracelets and Webkins. Ugh.

correction: glitter does not ruin the face. and once this beautiful little girl grows up, will she not be wearing make up anyway? rather her start off now and perfect putting on make up when she gets older, than her starting off when she's 20 and experimenting with make up... more or likely wearing makeup the wrong way.

You are adorable! Thank you so much for this review. I also love glitter mascara. I saw this girl once and she had the glittery-est eyelashes I had ever seen. They were thick, but I thought it looked so nice!

There is a Femme Couture mascara at Sally's Beauty supply that I bought called "Black Tinsel", and I think it has the exact same effect as the Hard Candy ones. I also would not recommend that one.

And I so happen to agree with this review completely. Hard Candy is a decent drugstore brand, but the glitter mascaras are absolute crap. The silver didn't show up on my lashes at all.

@kekkaiefrost Glitter, as opposed to glitter powder, has sharp edges and CAN, in fact, damage the cornea of the eye. It is also recommended that if one is using glitter dust, eyeshadow, or any other cosmetic product for the eye, that one close their eye while applying it. This helps to prevent damage to the eye.And Natural Beauty is better,and Glitter can ruin eye sight,if it get;s in the eyes.SOMETIMES makeup can age the skin with then chemical,and ingredients,This is just some advice.IMS

i got a tip for you, probably pretty late though...

when you put it on, don't do it like a normal mascara, just dab it on, like don't put it through your eyelash

Hey Hannah.

I have bought almost everything from the hard candy line, and most of it I am disapointed with. But with those mascaras you bought, I do have a tip. If you put on your regular mascara first, if you want lenght and volumne, then let it dry and apply a white mascara (or a white primer) and then apply 2 or 3 coats of the glitter mascara. I wouldnt buy them again, but since I have them (and you) I wanted to find a way to use them! Let me know if this helps!
