  • It's that "other people" business that I could do without.

  • It's hard to be happy when you have no friends and a dysfunctional family.

  • @mydivinesunshine I agree with you...I am struggling with that issue,

I am finding that setting limits to toxic people including my family is helping me

be more balanced... and am trying to find or create bonds with more healthy people..

I still want a realtionship with family but,I realize that because of the dysfunciton, I can only

a limited connection with them...and that is hard...I guess we all want a strong happy family..

healing and finding healthy friends is my goal but its hard.

  • @stratfordny Thanks for responding to my post. This issue has been hard for me as I struggle to build relationships with others and limit interaction with my toxic family...

With the anxiety as well, it hard to make friends and keep relationships or create bonds.

I'm focused on being happier and leave the isolation and loneliness in my past.

  • @mydivinesunshine I identify with what you are going thorough so much,

In case you have not read them, look for dr. John Townsned's new book beyond boundaries,

and his early book with Henry Cloud " boundaries"... really have helped.

    good luck to you, :)
