  • 9 minutes and 59 seconds of pure magic.

  • mys___/bonnardsbluesband

  • Now,this is music and sound of a guitar that i felt in my bones.Todays music is pure shit and sounds like game on my comodore back in the days.It is like people without ears producing music today.

  • gary who?

  • 6; 32. The shit or what?

  • Actually, this may the best and the most interesting playing I've heard him deliver.

He really keeps from playing too fast, for a long time, and plays more subdued and dynamic than I have ever heard him do.

It seems he finally got the point, which Albert King tried to put across to him 20 years ealier.

And when he turns up the heat in the end, then it works that much better.

    Thanks Gary....

  • 12 dislikes?!! Must be 12 accordian players, fuck off is all I can say.

  • Excellent. R.I.P.

  • R.I.P

  • He was a genius. Never heard such a passionate guitar player like him.

  • @cristianocollarin bucket head

  • @alpacino50kg

Buckethead is good, but nothing compared to Gary Moore.

  • @FanFromEurope: Yes, Buckethead can play, he's got technique and skills, he's probably a worthy fill-in for any major big name rock artist, but he appeals to only a crowd into "wierd." The truth is, Gary can whip-out technique and (melodic) speed with ANYONE, he proved that especially in his younger years. He had nothing to prove in his later career. The thing with Gary, that Buckethead will never have, is an ability to connect with the common listener on a more basic and personal level.

  • @screaminone Totally agree.

  • Gary can blow all the other guitar gods off stage, number one bar none, lets hope he enjoys jamming with Jimi

  • I once got the privilege of meeting Gary after a gig in Newcastle (NE England). Even though I could tell he was really exhausted, he still signed my Still got the blues album. I also got the chance to tell him he was my hero, and thanked him for his music, inspiration and time for me. It was brief, but I didn't blame him, after he'd spent 2 hours meting my face off with licks. He really did give it everything on stage. Taken well before his time. See ya soon Gary.

  • PLAYING ANYTHING OTHER THAN A LES PAUL THROUGH A MARSHALL SHOULD BE OUTLAWED WORLDWIDE!

AND BE PUNISHABLE BY SEVERING OF THE FINGERS! XD

  • @Pillnut SGs are allowed, surely? :L

  • @1LetThereBeRock1 OK SG's too, lol

  • holy crap. period.

  • when jim marshall dies its over: the perfect combination has died fully. GIBSON LES PAUL; A MARSHALL STACK AND GARY MOORE

  • amazing!

  • WOW !!!!! I couldn't play half that good even in my dreams

  • Loved his playing ands his facial expressions.

  • he was the electric blues guitar...fast, warm and real....RIP Gary

  • Know what ? Hows that for a bit of improv ! Loads of classic Gary in there with a nod to his influences , Hendrix , Albert King , Peter Green , Santana , Buddy Guy , Albert Collins and many more i'm sure . Left some great stuff fo us to enjoy

  • man was a legend him and phil will be jammin forever more

  • It is our privilege to have lived in his time ... Thanks for everything Gary!

  • Superb, but how could we expect anything else, cant beleive the fire is out, rest in peace

  • Amazing...... R.I.P. GAZZA ..... so hard to believe you are really gone....

  • I agree so we will never find an artist like Gary Moore again...His Soul and his Passion.....Love you Gary I'll miss you !!!!

  • R,I,P Gary :'(

  • Painful very very painful. We never had it so good. What MOORE can you say.

  • Lost count the amount of times I've seen Gary play over the last 31 years, but it strays into double figures somewhat!. The first track I ever saw live was 'Fanfare For Common Man' with Gary on guitar in Greg Lake's band, simply amazing!! Over the years he has been the most incredible musician I have ever seen, pure genius! R.I.P. Gazza!

  • If you ever wondered about how to play the guitar, look no further. This is the way and nothing can convince me otherwise. RIP maestro

  • @MrRedaxe Yes indeed. In years to come when we are all a distant memory people will look back at Gary Moore and wonder where the fuck he came from and how could anyone play like that. No generation will ever see a guitar player like Gary Moore.

  • @road2ruins

He had that magic that catches your ear and sounds so different from everybody else. It didn't matter if he was playing a slow tune or a fast one, he could always conjure up that perfect hook that the song needed to become as good as it could. Not everyone has that gift.

  • This is what its all about..kids. Gary is the real deal...this just blows me away!!

been a week since he passed away...still cant believe he is gone....ive got all his albums....lucky to seen him once in frankfurt in 92 when stationed in germany.

  • I am grateful to have seen him live. Albeit many years ago.

    My favourite guitarist by far.

    R.I.P. Gary.

  • Ithink i just became inspired to learn to play at the age of 35!

    R.I.P BIG GAZZA.

  • im sure gary is in heaven playing the blues with mike bloomfield...

  • I also am truley bummed that I never got to see him in concert (as I live in the US) and hesaid he won't tour here. I loved his music and ralent SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!

    RIP GARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 12 Justin Beiber fans.....How did they find their way to this site???

  • The best guitarist there has ever been by a long long way. I doubt if we will ever see his likes again.

  • R.I.P xx

  • @UlbrickAmplifiersUK Do me a favor. Send me a song you play better than this "fake"

  • @700kotchi Gladly, however you've missed the point. GM was a phenomenal ROCK player - check out Thin Lizzy Live in Sydney DVD. Personally I never bought into the reivented BLUES GM - The closest he came is the solo on "Don't believe a word" on his solo album - one of the THE top 10 solos of all time. GM's voice and playing as the BLUES guy doesn't do it for me - just my opinion dude

  • As good as it gets.

  • That ROCKED ....

  • if you don't use Marshall amps, YOU'RE A WANKER!

  • @markbhoward

That or you just don't want your ear drums to bleed when playing at home.

  • @markbhoward

Brian May doesn't think so ;)

  • friffennincredifantashiznit right there !

  • 59 LP would help out ......

  • some of his solos make me cry in such a good way!

  • i hope the 10 guys who disliked the video are dead now...somehow...

  • @jimslither L.O.L.

  • What's the name of the song?

RIP Gary, one of thee best in the world of all time.

  • i watched 2 seconds but i did a positive mark because its gary moore^^

  • Tell me that ain't music.. I dare you

  • @YuriAlgor this thing ain't music.....it is pure passion :P

  • @apateoniskos true that mate

  • @apateoniskos thats what real music is. It just seems to be lead down the wrong path these days and it's a shame.

  • @apateoniskos yeah, gary was a guitar monster, a real artist, he could play everything with the same high intensity level & passion...he was on fire all the time and maybe his heart failure was due to this....goodbye dear Gary

  • @angeldare59 Well put, Gary was one of a kind. A true genius of music and an amazing performer.

  • Way to go Gary Moore. You and that Les Paul get along super fine.

  • I wish he would call me at 0041 61 324 7141 in my office - come on I got a wonderful Strat and I can play

  • what guitar is he playing? I know its a Gibson Les Paul but does anyone know the model?

  • @4evergreendayfan

    It's his signature model.

  • I'm not really a blues guy, but DAMN!

  • :0 omg

  • Some of EC´ s Bluesbreaker tones are heard here. ( and the technique of playing).

  • He can make a Gibson cry like a baby!

  • He is his own genre of blues

  • That´s fuckin´ Brian Downey on drums!!! Now THERE´s a legend!
