I just started brewing my own cider. I was sharing my first bottles at Christmas with friends and my lad from England said to me, "taste the the scrumpy from back home" I laughed my balls off at the word scrumpy spoken with my buddys great accent ; and made a vow with my brothers never to call it anything but scrumpy.
