The saddest thing i read was from a fan exclaiming that he adored bloc party and worshipped the ground they walked on, he later announced that he despised the band due to kele being homosexual.

Eh the double drumming doesn't really do it for me. Mostly cause one is playing the hihat with just the left hand, while Matt uses both at around say 1:23. Im sure it's part of the live concept. The difference clashes im my opinion, though Matt Tong is incredible at keeping pace like this.
