Muslims are world-wide, you can't reduce Islam to any one group of people. As for stopping us dead in our tracks, inshAllah you won't win so don't try. Compare Sharia and western law, Sharia law doesn't legalize the prostitution and financial exploitation of women (ex: Sharia law garaantees women and children be supported by the father, unlike in the west where women have to work both outside and inside the home AND raise their children: EXPLOITATION) and SL doesn't legalize homosexuality.

And homosexuality? So SL is homphobe? I thought as much. If a man or women is homosexual, the he or she was born that way - it was God-given.

Sharia law is comparable to the laws in Nazi Germany from '33-'45. Actually, it's even worse, since the Nazis at least didn't hide behind God.

And if a woman wants to work and fullfill her interests in a career, she is not "exploited": She would be, if forced by anybody - also by her husband - to not work and just tend to her children. In the West we believe in freedom, we don't lock our women up and hide them, depraving them from their rights for education and self-fullfillment.

Islam doesn't either. Actually, under Islam it is a women's right to be educated. And she can work IF she'd like as well. You missed my point. Again: unlike many Western women who MUST work double-shift and raise their children while receiving no help from her children's father, Islam doens't allow this. Under Islam men are REQUIRED to sustain their children. That is completely fair.

Again with the "these" people? Muslims are people of every nationality and race, they even look like you and your family. If you're American, Islam is th fastes growing religion there. I myself am America. It was through Islam that Europe was able to crawl out of the Dark Age. Apparntly, prostitution, homosexuality, exploitation, and murder ar ok with you but fairness, cleanliness, and honor are not. Someone is medieval alright, but its not Muslims LOL

As to the legalization of prostitution - that is up to each country to decide, and the laws that control it are very strict. I don't know where you people get the idea prostitution is some kind of a problem in the West.

ur opinion abt homosexality,being something one is born with is an assumption.

as for working women,there is no problem with that from an islamic point of view,if they choose to do so in a decent envirnment & follow apropriate behaviour,the same goes for men.however SL places the burden of work on the husband,this means if he earns anything he HAS TO SPEND IT on his family.If a woman earns something she is not obliged to pay her hsband anything.She may choose to do so.

So its ok for each country to decide on its own laws, so long as its not Sharia law? The very fact that you think prostitution is NOT a problem reveals what kind of person you are: a. uninformed. Those women suffer from psychological issue and they don't even get to keep the money they get. These women are pimped, ususaly by men, for most of their $. b. Low morals. If prostitution is ok with you or if you're willing to go along with it then you're not someone I want around me.
