I am comparing HIS playing of the instrument and how he approaches the idiom of jazz (which is unfortunately the style he falls under) to all of the other jazz saxophone players before and beside him, namely coltrane for soprano, and unfortunately he does not fair very well. He improvisational vocabulary is very limited, he uses the same pseudo-bluesy licks over and over again. He is also always sharp.
