If you listen to old Metallica, Testament, old thrash bands, they have almost similar sound to hardcore punk. they even have skank beat, which is a staple in hardcore punk music. Of course, now thrash has already evolved.And grindcore is simply a more extreme version of hardcore punk. it has no similarity in structure to thrash, really. about this song, now that I think about it, it's more of thrash/death.
