They are both exceptional and stand as examples of a different face of Jpop. I have always loved Shimatani-san, as her voice is unique and flexible, and she possesses a certain passion and elegance around her that many singers do not. Yuna is interesting to me in that she actually speaks English as well, and so may be more likely to perform internationally (although both have expressed interest in this). Both seem to put so much care and emotion into their songs - I wish we had more like them!
