  • again.... seeking out confrontation

  • how much roon do u need

  • He gave you plenty of room you twat. You just love the attention. Worse than a fucking prima donna.

  • why dont bike user have to carry insurance and complete a course on there own personal road safety,i see bike users going through red lighst every day,and riding a long pavements intended for people with two legs to use,,,,what would happen if they caused serios injury or death,a push bike can easy do 25-30 mph i am sure flat out,so why no insurance or tests for push bike users, there are road users after all.,,some countrys i am sure have this and reg plates for push bikes.

  • i always give cyclists a wide berth as i know they have a rite to use the road but a couple if days ago i was driving up a one way street and as i rounded the corner there were 5 cyclists coming straight towards me and only that they looked to be serious cyclists as they had all the top gear on incuding helmet cams, but they dont put that on utube.

  • The driver clearly gives you enough space you sad little twirp. I would literally have told you to FUCKOFF!

  • your not a traffic cop magneton

  • lad now drives for McColls coaches, hint hint... to be truthfull lads a fud,

he somehow took a bus left the road and ended up in a field....

  • he works for first glasgow... i know this cause i know the lad in the picture video... sorry... so his jacket said First... not SPT...

  • @earthfire1980

If you know him you should point him to this video. :-)

  • @magnatom I did show him it... he said thats his five minutes of fame over now for good

  • no he doesnt SPT .... you'll find he works for a bus company... had you looked at his hivis it didnt say SPT...

oh guess your wrong again... you didnt have to stop at all...be the bigger man and carry on your merry way... ROAD RAGE again.... the taxi driver was reacting to you stopping as anyone would... you dont stop to argue, no one will argue with you...

  • @earthfire1980

He may not work for SPT, but his jacket did say that, it just doesn't show on camera.

As for road rage...LOL! Feel free to report me!

  • @magnatom If you look up 'road rage' in the dictionary, it says,' hitting cars, overreacting, starting arguments, screaming like a little girl, always thinking you're right, shaking your head at everyone within visual range, and riding in the middle of the road forever so no one can pass and basically acting like David who has a channel called magnatom. To learn how to piss off everyone within two square miles while riding a bike please watch his videos. XDXDXD I haven't laughed so hard indays!

  • lmao a know that boy it the end haha ust to go to ma school

  • When you undertake a row of waiting cars, or filter through two lines of traffic, do you give them a minimum of 3 feet on either side? If so, you'd never filter or undertake. You can't have your cake and eat it: if cyclists can expect to undertake and filter, they can expect overtakes like this. I'm not saying it's right, but unfortunately it makes sense.

  • @NijntjeMegen Um, NO, as a matter of physics, a car hitting a cyclist does more damage to the cyclist, then a cyclist hitting a car. The cyclist has control, when they filter, whereas they have no control when they are passed to close.

Besides, cars cause Lukemia, other cancer, and kill thousands from pollution. Cars are a menace on the roads!!

  • @KrunchyJD

When you filter or undertake, you pass cars with inches to spare on both sides. Drivers therefore see what little space you need, and that is what you get when they overtake. To them, that is simply making sense, even if it's stupid and dangerous. And thinking you have control is equally dumb. At best you have enough insight to accurately predict events on the road. That is true whatever you ride or drive. Take your road space, but never fight for it or assume it's yours by right.

  • @NijntjeMegen Thats not true, if cyclist undertakes, when cars are not moving, they are at fault if they hit a stationary vehicle, and because the vehicle is stationary, the cyclist determines if they will hit anybody, and are responsible. The cyclist cant be run over if they are moving and the traffic is stopped. You never hear "cyclist runs over top of car". but a car can run over a cyclist

  • This is classic Glasgow, love it

  • what did the SPT guy say? I understood 0% of what the guy said... must have been drunk or something (thats what it sounded like to me...)

  • Whatever you do Mags DONT come to l.pool - your more likely to get 'knocked out' if you remonstrate with a car driver ! for not giving you room. SERIOUS

  • Wow... all you're asking for is a small buffer zone whilst being passed, you'd think you were asking the world!! I can guarantee you, that taxi driver will happily wait 2-3 seconds several times a day holding doors open for people in public buildings to be polite. However, like most drivers, the instant he's in his cage, suddenly waiting 2-3 seconds for others is an unreasonable request. Even when not doing so can mean death, as opposed to a bump on the nose.

  • Cyclists are Entitled to use the Road in Safety and that means Respect from Motorists. The Motorists need to change their Attitudes and give cyclists Room to move in Safety. If they cannot give a Cyclist 3ft of space they must slow down in Order to pass by without knocking them off their Bike or else shoving them off by the Back Draft of Air as they Speed by.

Car Phobic Britain has got to get Rid of the Attitude and Return the Streets to the People and Restrict the use of the Motorcar .

  • @sunnyjoe66 Why do You capitalize Random words in your Sentence that Don't need To be Capitalized?!?

  • Perhaps it would be to everyone's advantage if you took up jogging. Dont forget though, jogging usually takes place on the pavement. In fact scratch that idea, no doubt this would lead you to posting your encounters with pavement hogging little old ladies. Take up hot air ballooning, yes, that is the way forward. You certainly have enough hot air to power one!

  • I have looked at the majority of of your videos and the general flavour is of you entering into arguments with other road users, often without basis. I ride to work on a daily basis and think you are a hazard to other road users. Hopefully someone will report you to the police. The taxi driver wasnt close to you and in the context of what appears to be a fairly low speed overtake, you had no apparent basis to 'have a go'.

  • He is needed as a cyclist to stand up for them. Glad to see M managed to stop the driver anyway, he forgot cyclists can do that. That bloke was nice, coming up to you the one that said 'as long as you're allright'. Sometimes a scene helps to bring about witnesses.

  • I'm all for Cyclists using the road and i'm all for other drivers being courteous and acting safely. But from looking at this slimy little tits videos, he appears to just ride about picking fights and videoing them "Who do you work for then eh?" He'll pick a fight wi someone who'll knock his smarmy bullied little skull out his helmet and ram that shitty cam up his starfish... You are a turd sir.

  • I think too many motorists ignore the Highway Code. The Highway Code says motorists have to leave a car's space between the cyclist and the motorist. If a cyclist gets killed a motorist would do a Hit and Run. It is better that the cyclist at least try to remind the motorist so that in the future it won't happen again. He is doing motorists a favour by ensuring they drive safely.

  • Look Davie, its not WHAT you do. Its HOW you do it... People make mistakes, accidents will happen on the road to all users, i get it, If your on a bike its much worse, i really do. But you An Adult Male, approach solo females in cars and male drivers who apon retaliating, you scream "This is a CAMERA!"... and "Where do you work?" to passers by. I dont get the shouting of registration plates either, whats that about? What possible use is that?

  • The highway code suggests "ignoring the error and remaining calm"... I suggest the same to you. These are not the actions of a completely fulfilled adult male Dr Brennan and well you know.

  • Apologies, i assumed it was Dr Brennan that was replying there....

  • Accidents will happen and there are ways of dealing with it. I tend to count to 10 and then speak to motorists normally. Otherwise they just shout back. However, sometimes what they did is so dangerous, it is different to remain calm. They nearly killed you and you are in shock.

  • In law you need as much evidence as you can and it is commonsense to have a video to record bad driving. If motorist drove safely then no cyclist would bother to have a word with them. They could of course phone the police immediately, would you rather they did that?

  • My dear fellow, ACCIDENTS HAPPEN,... I encounter sheer idiocy on the roads as well as accidents daily, (we are only human). This assists no'one. and are you really suggesting we call the police for everytime we encounter this? The answer is clearly better cycle routes. If you are not cut out for the risks of being on the highways, then either get a bus, or lobby for your own routes...

  • Incidentally, thats my final comment on this obviously deeply unhappy chaps videos... Good evening.

  • It is against the law and technically yes it should be reported. As they need to learn, after all, accidents will happen if no one does anything about it. It is not an accident when a motorist deliberately takes a test and is supposed to leave a car's space between the cyclist and motorist. It is careless driving. I report any motorists driving badly. They need to drive carefully or else.

  • I am not a bloke. Women cycle too.

  • LOL! you are a funny man! However, insulting another youtube user and suggesting that they should end up under a lorry is unacceptable.

Oh well, that is what the block user link is for! Bye!

  • Well done. He is not worth replyiing to.

  • But both of you still did.

  • He is 100% true though. Just get on with your life like the rest of us in cars do. No need to film us - it's not like you even have the bottle to go to the police with this.

IT's not like the Police even care about someone "closely" passing you. Stick to the pavement or something.

  • My sound is not working so didn't hear anything.

  • aww, it was nice you had some backup on this one and someone was looking out for you.

Personally, I have the most respect for cyclists on the road, especially those who commute to work every day. It seems they get some amount of unjustified abuse, and I can see why.

Lol at the SPT guy running away from you because he was scared of you.

Aww, what a sound person at the end though.

  • The SPT running away? he was merely shouting something as he walked passed.. scared lmao, only you could even imagine or bring up being scared in a stupid situation like that.

  • He's embarassed enough about his behaviour to have reported this video as a violation of privacy though, apparently. Not that it is, it's perfectly legal to film in a public place.

  • I see Suprsneaky's account is now closed. Perhaps his nonsense has landed him in trouble ;-)

  • I would have removed the informant completely but I'd act on his information.

  • dude u are a bad ass i think what ur doing is awsome just doing that will make that taxi driver think twice when he see's another cyclist

  • what did the driver say? struggling a bit to understand the accent :D

  • I think he was trying to say that the traffic made it hard to go around..? LOL I love Ekim's idea of subtitles

  • Trust Tom to have a conversation with 3 people at a red light lol

  • You should also show appreciation and thank that guy for asking if your all right instead of blocking him out with ur hand and saying simply "aye am awrite" and continuing to speak to the taxi guy........

  • A. you're a grumpy sod aint ya, SupraSneaky, LOL! ..and b. I think you need to look up those laws on public photography and filming. Even CCTV law isnt as draconian a set of rules as you make out..

As for staying off the roads on the basis of one incident - perhaps you should never go out? I mean, you prolly fell on your arse when you were a kid, you could be a danger to yourself ;-)

  • Sorry, but that is the law. If you set up CCTV in and around your house, it must NOT view onto the streets, nor must it be able to see into anyone elses garden or windows, etc. That IS the law.

And its not one incident, he's fallen off a few times, including one bang-smack in the middle of a junction, out in the middle of the road. Perhaps someone needs cycling lessons. I don't cycle, I gave it up when I was about 10. I drive now. Perhaps you should also step up...

  • Not true at all. Under the data protection act businesses have certain obligations, private properties and individuals do not. The Information Comissioners Office governs what can and cat be filmed, direct onto the streets is fine and legal. However filming another private property could be construed as harassment under the Human Rights Act.

As for me driving: whats the point? There are 4 cars squeezed onto my property, I dont think another will fit. Its a waste of money for me.

  • Thats my understanding df.

  • Wrong wrong wrong.

You cannot film into private property, ie. other peoples gardens, but even if its at a distance or not sole focus, it isn't a problem.

You can film whatever you want on public land, including roads, pavements etc.

The rules generally state the control of broadcast of images (including photos). but if you take photos of someone in a public place, they don't have reasonable expectation of privacy (its a public place... etc).

  • Are you even a clued up photographer (stills + video)? or actually deal with CCTV and the law?

Most people that say you cannot film the street with CCTV are just copying someone else's opinion.

  • SupraSneaky from your profile

About Me: im 16, live in ireland

Don't think much else need be said.

  • And thats why I tend not to comment on laws about other countries, finbat LOL! I think SS (LOL!!) should perhaps refrain or else he'll come across as yet another u-troll. And as you say he's perhaps too young to know what he's rattling on about.

  • SupraSneaky... have you got any links that say that? I thought you could video anything that is public from the side of the road. I see lots of gardens and it hard not to put them in. I think google had problems and took photos off but only when the owners complained.

  • They dropped it because of public pressure, not the law.

  • And a scared to confront everyone you see "commiting crimes" and you dont even report this to the police.

If its ilegal to film the street from your house, by using cctv etc how can it be legal for you to be going around recording everyone and their reg. plates etc?

  • It's legal, just like it would be legal for you to take a photograph or video of your friends when you are outside in public spaces (such as when on Holiday)

  • Different laws apply to different countries - but why is it in the UK its illegal to film the street using CCTV, but its not using a video camera? please

  • I tend to report the reg nos to the police so I get their support. or try to hide the numbers if I can't report them.

  • I miss those taxis

  • No, the overtake wasn't too bad. He got over as much as he could, and it was pretty slow, relative to you.

Still, it was a bit unnecessary, as I imagine he could see the stationary queue of traffic at the lights ahead.

  • What was the taxi driver saying after the SPT guy's interjection? From that point onwards a lot of the dialogue is hard to make out (to be fair, the first part is only comprehendible due to gesticulation).

You should consider adding at least vague subtitles to your videos, where possible and applicable...

Anyway, nice to see a taxi driver not just have a go and tell you to eff off. Strange to see a passerby do so, however...

  • My club run has had a similar out burst but not from somebody wearing a company hi-viz! Judging from the idiots face he was just trying to wind you up, a wind up merchant ;-)

  • he just only angre cus hes a bus driver and your bikes probally worth more than 1 years wages

  • What did the guy in hiviz say?

  • im not sure it was worth making a confrontation like that...was it?

im not trying to sound like a bastard im just not sure it was

  • From the video it didn't look that bad, compared to some. I probably wouldn't have bothered saying anything either.

  • People will do crazy things to show off to their audiences (on youtube) when there is a camera recording...
