Does it matter if you're a christian and be straight edge? Because I am a christian, does that make me non straight edge? Does that make me a smoker or a drinker or something now? Because I'm a christian? Straight Edge is a moral thing, just because your a christian doesn't mean your not straight edge. And as much as I love straight edge, it's not an offical label. That's true, there is a LOT of straight edge people that think they're better than everybody else. That makes them terrible. And then there's those straight edge kids that think that if another straight edge person doesnt just listen to hardcore then he's not straight edge. And there's some that think you can't be straight edge and christian at the same time. I love what straight edge stands for and I will never ever do drugs, drink or smoke. And I love Jesus Christ more than anything.

I was at Have Heart's last show last week in Boston and there were straight edge kids there who were making it seem like not being straight edge was evil. I'm not straight edge in the least and I still listen to hardcore. There's nothing wrong with that but some straight edge people think they're superior. It's about unity and being true to yourself, straight edge or not.
