  • Dang Hyundai should really make a luxury brand called BB (bargain Benz) get a lot of customers who want the mb experience but for a lower price.

  • I've owned this car for about a year now and its been great. My only issues have been minor. Like i can't turn off the traction control or ESC and they are both too senitive. Other than that i've gotten 29mpg on my trip from LA to VEGAS going 90mph.

  • The 5.7 Hemi in my 300C is rated at 25highway, the Hemi 5.7 in My Challenger is also rated at 25 highway (both thanks to MDS cylinder deactivation.) Not sure where you are getting the 14 figure from?

  • Sarah, I think you should be a Hyundai spokes person. Why? You sound natural and relaxing to your listeners. I've watched your video several times and I feel like Genesis is the best car out there.

  • Thank you. Keep coming back new car review test drives coming ergularly.

  • Genesis looks nice, my only consern is that they never won a prize for a reliability in any of the models they have right know, maybe this car will be a start.

  • That guy with the Chrysler noticed correctly. The front end looks like that of the new Mercedes, and the back end looks like the back of the new M5.

  • I like this car. Very good Review. It is very difficult to find a woman interested in car reviews and taking video while driving and explaining things about the car. Thank you very much!

  • I plane on buying one in 2010. I love that car. Nice video keep up the great work.

  • The Genesis is not available as a stick shift in the sedan. I expect they will offer a manual in the new Coupe coming next year. The dash buttoins are not confusing. It looks and acts like many other luxury cars on the market, but costs less money. alot less.

  • hi. thanks for this review. i have a few questions. is this car a stick sift? and is it confusing to have all those buttons in the car?

  • sarah, show us your face.

  • I dont think it would add anything to the reviews. Thanks for the offer though. It's too hard to drive, film and point the camera correctly. ;-)

  • you forgot to tell the driver that the Tau v-8 would kill anything with a hemi in it.

  • you pronounced "Hyundai" wrong....It's literally "hxian-daee" in Korean

  • ooh i like the sts

  • Nice review. I like the way you do your reviews.

  • I agree. Sarah, you should go primetime! But maybe you could get a different camera. Oh, and the solution for being able to drive and shoot vids would be a tripod with a dash mount. They work great. But besides that, excellent reviews. I wanna see you on the news or Live with Regis and Kelly. I'm subscribing to your vids. You rock!

  • Hi Sarah Lee plz review the V8 version! TY

  • You've done a nice review indeed!

I'd appreciate it if you could talk more about some of the more important features such as traction control, brakes, transmission

  • I don't think this one comes with a navigation system. But that is no biggie. Navigation system is very affordable.

  • I bought a Santa Fe from Henderson Hyundai! Go Henderson, Nevada! :P

  • even if the car is amazing, that doesn't matter... people buy luxury cars for status symbol ... HYUDAI is for poor people so this idea will never work! JUST like the $100,000 VW PHAETON. That was rated as an amazing car on TOPGEAR by J. Clarkson

  • Idiot. The Phaeton started at 70k. The Genesis starts at less than half that.

  • Hyundais are for people who want the most for their money...maybe if Lexus offered a 100,000 mile powertrain warranty, I'd buy another one, but they don't.

I didn't buy my 911 for any status...I love driving it!

  • Hyundai has stepped it up a notch. Or two...

  • All I have to say is wow. That car was very quiet and the attention to detail in such an affordable car is great. The Genesis sounds very quiet in the video, it was silent, but it is still nice to know it can let off a healthy and sexy growl!

  • I just ordered a V8 Genesis to replace my '99 LS 400 which I rarely drove.

I drove the 3.8 model that the dealer had and begged me to buy, but I couldn't give up a V8.

I ordered a sapphire blue one with the beige interior and technology package.

I'm sure I'm bound to get a bunch of crap from my friends, but honestly, when it comes down to it, it's a great package for the money..

  • hats 0ff for the purchase. I would if i could.

  • Nonetheless, I was looking for a good video review of this car and I found one.

    Nice job.

  • Hun-day.

  • "hyunday" not "hyundie"

  • you know, that i am korean and koreans don't really admire hyundai because hyundais are so expensive at korea and you don;t even get a airbag for a standard option! But, in usa YOU get a awesome hyundai that is cheap.

  • It's pronounced "Hyun-day" not "Hyun-die".

  • It's pronounced "Hyun-day" not "Hun-die". A little pet peeve of mine.

  • did you buy it or are you test driving it

  • I didn't buy it yet because this was the only one the dealer had. With limited initial availability I have my order in for the Opalescent White, which is gorgegous.

  • Oh, that color is one of the best on the Genesis. Personally, I prefer the deep blue it offers. Congratulations on an awesome purchase! Great review!

  • looks great

but don't you think the nav screen is way too tiny?

  • this looks great

but the navigation screen seems too tiny

  • The car in the video does not have the Navigation screen. I replied that it was available without correcting myself that this particular car didn't have it. Sorry for the confusion.

  • omg that is really nice
