Assasins creed is actually awesome. The first one was amazing, and the gameplay its self is class. But they've fucked it up with this God's, Temple and bull shit. If they did it differently, than it'd be soooo much better.

@DBY97 Agreed. If "those who came before" were kept as vague as in AC1 then the franchise would be much better. I also found AC2's main plot to be a little too... flamboyant.

I don't know why but when I play den defense nothing has effect on greek fire siege engine. NOTHING HELPS!!!!! That shit gets hit a thousand times with the cannon and other things but it's health doesn't go below 100%. I mean WHAT THE F*CK??!!

@AcMrPro The only way to do a Den Defense is by becoming Templar Aware (meaning that icon at the top left corner must be completely red), and you must have at least1 den that is NOT locked due to having a Master Assassin there. Then, when Templars are aware of you, just cause a little more mayhem by killing other guards and such until you see a little thing that says "Templars have launched an attack on your den". Then, you go towards the den glowing in orange, and you take it from there!

I just let the base fall...respawn and since you happen to still be in the enemy trritory i just go find the templar captan and kill him again....it's really easy...just try it and you'll see what i'm talking about

Am I the only one who actually likes the den defense? I actually hope that the Templar will attack my dens more often, especially when I got the cannon barricade: that thing is a beast.

I gotta ask you a question. How did you make Templars attack your den? I played the game, completed it, 100% synched most of it, and only Den Defence I had was the story related one. Please answer!

@czesioo7 to get the byzantines to attack your den, you must increase your templar awareness status meaning kill byzantines or improve shops or kill their couriers etc.. then when its filled, you will get a message saying that the templars are fully aware of what you are doing and might attack any of our unsecured den at any moment

@czesioo7 You need to get notorious and kill a lot of guards when the marker is red. If you done it enough times your notoriety will return to normal and you will be informed about an attack. It's a yellow assassin logo on the map.

advice, use all rooftops with the assassin leaders cuz they give u morale and hold first few waves wif riflemen, u and them can easily hold out and save the cannons and loot all the time and always put riflemen on rooftops, fill the streets wif barricades and upgrade them as much as u can and then the siege weapons probs wont make shots at the den :)

yeah the one I am doing has seriously unlimited health i have all the rooftops full of crossbows and riflemen and then i also got everyone on it it wont go down!

@TruFigur Depends if your strategy goes well, if does capture it and get an master assassin to control it, if it comes to worse still try and come back to it when you are ready but make sure you have some ammo and medicine for attacking the den before you play the role in defence, subscribe!

@TruFigur i dont like assigning master assassins as this will lock the den and no more den defence... I just dont understand why some hate it..!? it's an innovative and exciting new feature, once u learn how to use it, it gets very easy sometimes however its challenging i love challenges!

@ProkoLokor its quiet simple though :P if its the tank thats hitting your barricad down just put loads of gunners on top of ure last buildings (closer to the den) so taht they constantly shoot at the tank. If its a tank with canon, well you do the same thing, I mean theres so many options I for instance like to mix them up with 2 splinter bombers so that it has a nice impact on a group of mele fighters. Trust me the more you do it the better you will get at it.

Also, I noticed that sometimes player on videos got an information like "MORALE x10 or x20" how do you get that? Looting maybe?

@ProkoLokor of course dude you must loot that lol ! its weird to loot 'moral' but once you or your assassins killed some of the attacking templars you will see the mouse changing into a form of 'grabbing hand' if you hover it on top of the dead bodies, just click then. you will see a message 'Moral x 10' looted and that bosts your moral big time, allowing you to place way more assassins on rooftops and barricades :)

@ProkoLokor now I intentionally attack randomlly byzantines so that they launch a massive atack on my den, in order for me to enjoy the den defense mini game :P to me its definitly the best new feature in AC:R

Do you have to recapture dens to guy and buy banks, tailors, blacksmiths, etc. ?because they still aren't available to me and i own every den, but they are all trying to be re-captured.

Dude honestly idc if my den is under attack. I find this part of the game very freaking annoying. It's impossible to destroy the tank, I once got cannons to shoot at it, but couldn't figure out how to do it again : ' / Other than this tedious side task the game is generally awesome. And I can't wait for AC 3, due before December of 2012 :)))

- I honestly think AC is how the world is gonna end :O

@Em1Wally I hate the den side missions freaking annoying but overal the game is truley awesome with an indepth storyline about the conclusion to Ezio's trilogy, waht happens to Altair at the end of AC1 and ofcourse Desmond finding the truth about his order. But I don't believe the world is gonna end on the 21,12,12.

@ciporto Try and use riflemen and the cannon plus Ezio's gun, look at the top to see how far you are from finishing the den fight so you know when to be prepared.
