I am an Ex-Muslim Atheist. I think many Atheists, like me, believe in their children choosing their own faith rather than being brainwashed into Atheism. I won't mind my child asking and learning about Islam or any other faith. I am glad this woman has finally found happiness in Islam. I just hope she gets a lot of support from the Muslim community because changing religions can be difficult.

Time is only a device for the physical universe to allow for things to commence. There are are places, even in this universe, where time ceases to exist. They can even be manipulated by man to time travel. Hollow black holed through highly compressed matter around a spherical chasm.
God, not being of the universe, needs no time to move and do things.
You cannot relate human elements to non human things.

Also, no, that atronaut would be out of the effects of the universe ending. Because time would not exist around that region of the universe, the universe would still be 15 billion years old around it, while elsewhere it would be older. Time is like a big blob across the universe, going at different speeds depending on circumstances.
If someone could find out how to affect the universe like the great "dark flow", you would be God.

If you could drive energy from any point in time to another point using some kind of time manipulation device (such as the light beam warp thing they are making), you would have infinite energy. Inf energy means instant traveling. You can manipulate sound waves to be anywhere because with inf energy you can teleport them anywhere, except space. But you'd be dead anyway then.

One thing that I find interesting, and I invite you to help me find out why, is that the first few seconds of existence, when solid matter formed, had all matter in the universe in a small area. Why didn't this all create enough gravity to collapse into itself and cause a time distortion, preventing the universe from forming any further? It's like gravity didn't exist in the beginning of the universe, but came around later

What if these aliens went back in time to create the universe? It's still not known why the universe exists, because in all technicality, when the first matter formed, it should have collapsed into a black hole with all the mass in the universe within it. It's almost like gravity didn't exist until later. But that would imply that some one or some thing had to turn on the gravity button of the universe, because gravity isn't something that just happens spontaneously.

I remember my teacher in our religion and ethics class gave us a study that showed that in the last 50 years all the way upto 2005 Canada's atheist population reduced by 50%. I think any society that becomes secular long enough will eventually have people going back to religion or some higher power belief

As an atheist, I find the term "brainwashed" a bit disturbing when you describe us. Perhaps her parents were not the best people since there are moral and immoral people in any faith or lack thereof. However, I would protest to you labeling atheists in general as inherently bad people.

As a muslim I will tell you I certainly don't think of atheists as brainwashed. Though I am appalled by the bigotry demonstrated by Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris against all theists; I certainly don't take that as being something wrong with all atheists. However, I don't appreciate the islamophobia demonstrated by many of them on the internet especially when their criticism of my faith always seems to lack a deeper understanding of it.

Oh no my friend, I'm afraid we have a pretty good understanding of a faith in the divine. We're opposed to faith in a God because we know in our hearts that such a being, at the very least, should not exist and belief in him is therefore completely unfounded. I for one am convinced that god doesn't exist.Try to look at it from our point of view: we see a bunch of people who believe in something that doesn't exist and are willing to die in order to spread and protect this belief.

Actually I have seen it from your point of view. I used to be an atheist; and a hard-core one at that. In my experience atheist criticism of Islam is easily debunked. Misinformation on islamic history, and mistranslation of suras and their explanations, wether done on purpose or by ignorance, regardless is fruitless in disproving my religion.
