a trick with the 2.4l is turn it to first and shift at 7000 rpms to second; way quicker.

i have the 2002 galant es with the 2.4l 4cyl. how fast does it go 0-60 if you shift? im running at about 8.5 seconds on auto

Close to 7.5 sometimes 8 seconds on a flat road.

@airsoftg0d Sorry mate, stock it's just 150bhp in the 2,4, but the 2,5 V6 has stock 163 horsepower and sounds alot better. =)

Not impossible, i have found some, but they are just not the year i want, i want a 99-03 cuz im' tunnin it up real nice and i got a body kit thats perfect for it, might hafta settle for something else tho..lol

Ah yeah, I had a 2003 as well, I've never heard of or seen a manual version for sale. So AFAIK they don't exist. Even on mitsubishi's website, the only transmission available is 4 or 5 speed automatic, not manual.
