You can get attacked by a shark on the very first level. First time playing it and I crashed in the water because my parachute didn't work, I didn't feel like walking. So I went swimming. Next thing I know I see a silohuette and then I'm dead.

you barely ever see them, but if you swim to far out in the village level, either those boats in the distance shoot you, or a shark eats you. In sandbox 2, they are under ai, misc in the entitys in the rollup bar, if you know how to use sandbox

It is in the ordinary game but you rarely see them. You can download a mod WHICH only allows a glitch to happen more frequently that allows swarms of sharks to come and the flying sharks to happen :P
