  • Well all I remember of him is hearing a Geordie say "HAWAY MAN, McMANAMAN MAN!"

  • Still my favourite player of all time.

  • McManaman‏ McManaman‏ McManaman‏ McManaman‏

  • very very skilld

  • Incredible how much Macca reminds me of Thomas Müller. Both look like the guy you´d never chose for your team in sports class. But give them a ball and everybody just watches with the mouth open. I´m German, and if you ask me for my favourite player in Euro´96 there´s only one name: no Gazza, no Möller, only STEVE McMANAMAN

  • Oh my god no wonder i feel like Deja Vu watching Luis Suarez.. the mazy runs, clever turns... It reminded me of Macca!!!

  • the god for me

  • good player, never did it for england

  • change the music its shit

  • this spice boy was actualy a great player

  • blame youtube for not allowing us to edit songs to match the video. there's not much songs to choose from youtube...

  • @acids6969 You've done a fine job mate

  • sure Steve McManaman was the best palyer in England of the Euro 96 and 2nd was Alan Sherer

  • MACCA!!!

  • God damn it! Stevie made it look so damn easy. : o

  • what a goals is amazing !

  • viva! el madrid

  • grande mcmanaman. hala madrid!

  • his much better than gigs as an overall player his got better shots passes and better ability to dribble gigs looks better cos he has more pace. macca proved it at madrid you saw the first goal in the video thats him in madrid

  • GRAN MCMANAMAN!!!!!!

  • very under-rated player and he was only second best 2 ryan gyggs in that position. only wish liverpool had another young stevie coming through, although keep your eye on young hamill.

  • @superbadsammy are you nuts or what !? Second best !? He is/was FAR AHEAD of Giggs !

Giggs is class but he's still not in McManaman's league & he's known to be a McManaman wannabe !

  • Il miglior calciatore inglese.....

  • 1:32 rules Good ol Macca

  • Great compilation!

I can't help having the feeling that with a bit more application Steve could have been an all time great.

Liverpool were half a team when he played for them. A few great players carrying too many average ones.

And at Real Madrid? He did a good job in a team full of stars.

Some fantastic goals. Wonder why he didn't score more?

  • With all the spice boy bullshit, I had no idea this guy was actually a fine winger.

  • gran jugador steve

  • What a star! A much better player (and man in general) than Ronaldo the petulant ladyboy.

With better players around him, Liverpool would've done amazing things in the 90's. If he was playing for them now Liverpool would romp the league every year.

  • what's the song please???

    thanks

  • I Write Sins Not Tragedies - Panic! At The Disco xD

  • ...the decade aint even over, liverpool have even more than that, 2 f.a cups 2 uefa super cups (something fergie aint won not the 1991 one because they werent in europe then no english team was) 2 league cups, 1 cl, 1 uefa cup. united only dominated the 90's, they aint dominated this decade, because 1 they 90's side struggled for the sliverware in the early 00's 2000-2003 and 2 arsenal and chelsea combined have won 4 league titles which is what united have won this decade.

  • Grandisimo jugador y grandisimo compañero, jugadores como él hacen falta en todo vestuario. En los años que estuvo en el Real Madrid no dio un solo problema, y encima nos regaló la vista con goles memorables. Thank you Steve. We miis you here in Madrid.

  • he's the best liverpool winger of all time, liverpool would have been godlike if they had him now!

  • 2:13 increíble. De sus mejores goles. Gracias McManaman

  • What a great player, inside and outside the pitch. Real Madrid´s supporters will never forget you. What a awesome goals he scored. God Save Mcmanaman

  • he wasn't supposed to be a star... but he was simply great, i remember some goals he scored in real madrid... all of them were AMAZING

  • excellent footwork... he used to be thebest winger around...not only for england but the world

  • It is the wrongest decision for him/ Owen to leave Liverpool. Real Madrid just ruined Steve's career!

  • One of the players I was really crazy about

  • Real Madrid CF & Liverpool FC Until my dying day.

  • Great player, I used to enjoy watching macca play

  • And i would have to agree about the music, great video but SHIT music.

  • AWESOME PLAYER! I knew him and loved him on his Real Madrid era, he was nicknamed Karate Kid in latinamerica by one of his great goals.

    Steve McManaman!!

  • Waxhead, sorry bumper. Fergie is going down, hes a drunken old man, nobody with a mind of their own,or players close to 30 wanna be bullied around. Well Giggs and Scholes, whatever they can contribute with. When or if C.R leaves, you have to thrust Shrek Rooney and the lazy Russian,Tevez, did a great job keeping hammers of relegation. Evra is ok. You are addicted to a portugisian that would have prefered R.M,and spanish whores, instead of beeing treated like a child by sir Red Nose. Shrek lol.

  • fergie is going down...eh the double last season ya hes defo going down....evra is ok?? have you ever watched him play...rooney might be ugly buts hes one of the best players in the world...and lazy russian..one hes bulgarian and 2 cantona wasnt exactly the most active player ever but he is up there with the best so get ur facts right before u make stupid comments

  • ryandunny can u not see how dumb this espencrass breh is..dumb shit.

  • Good too know that youre the fu..ing Einstein here then so I can ask you,if there is something I wonder about,Scum supporters doesn t exist in my eyes.

  • Great player.

    Rafa is the man.

Who gives a fuck what Waxthumper thinks.

  • Maccaaaaaaaaaaaa!! un... believable footballer... one of my favs all time of Real Madrid!! and my fav English player of all... what a way to hit the ball!! one of many of Anfield's finest... maybe one of the best... and most successful... Hala Madrid!! xD

  • why do people go to the effoet of making a decent montage then ruin it by putting SHITE music behind it?..go on thumbs down me you fucking gays

  • @froger76 basement jaxx are fuckin sick man, go fist yourself.

  • @MrHankscorpio100 i don't actaully recall commenting on this video but seems i did..after watching and listening to it i agree with wankscorpio....bottom of the basement spax are fucking sick.

  • @froger76 man you must be the hardest fella i've ever come across on youtube. your play on words is fantastic, so clever.

  • Real are the biggest clube in spain, most people support their local team, and then real madrid, unless they support either Atlético or Barça.

As for the biggest clube in England, it's probably a tie between United and Liverpool, but for argument's sake i'll take the Scousers.

  • nice video but this music seriously? wtf its bad

  • parecido al estilo de juego de messi.

  • poor mans ryan giggs

  • I dont blame Macca for leaving though, we were awful at the time, and i guess scoring and winning a champions league medal justifies his decision.

  • the sour point was due to the fact that we lost out on about 10 M ON MACCA, but that was down to rick parry's incompetence as a chief exec, we lost Owen due to constant stalling of a contract renewal and almost lost gerrard

  • Gotta be a good contender for an all-time Liverpool first 11. Legend!

  • its a pitty dat him and fowler split

  • Steve was the best winger in the 90's. I still think he was the best player in England 1996 Euro Championships

  • @DavidTheDark

Early 90s perhaps. Cos there was this another guy, Ryan Giggs.

  • his movement on the pitch reminds me cristiano ronaldo

  • grande grande maca es un pedazo jugador

  • Great video. Picture quality was a little blurry though. For those people wanting to know the name of the song, instead of appreciating Macca's class, go to damn itunes would ya please!!!!

  • for a period of about 94 to 2000 macca was the most exicting scouse come english player there was, my only hope is that we can forget the sour note that he left the club.

  • If Real was willing to pay Macca so much in wages, Liverpool should have matched and exceeded what Real offered. Bad boardroom management that has kept the title away from Anfield for 18 years.

  • Absolute dogshit. Macca moved because he wanted a new challenge and he wanted to play CL football. Which we couldn't offer him.

  • Where does the sour grapes come in, (about him leaving) If you are right?? It was not exactly a illustrious time at Real being a squad player eh??? I think he did the wrong thing moving there. I think, in my modest opinion, it ruined his career.

  • Sorry yer right. Memory not so great these days. Try Steve mcmanaman on wikipedia. Its a bit of both ready. Peace mate...

  • No problem lad.

Trust me it hurt me a lot when he left. I was about 9 or 10 and he was at his peak. I idolised the guy. I played right wing as well and basically tried to copy everything he did. Its only having read El Macca and listening to him being interviewed that I really understood why he left. You have to remember at the time only 2 teams qualified for the CL.

  • Real Madrid, and possibly AC Milan, are the only two clubs in Europe that might be bigger than Liverpool. Fairplay to wanting to go abroad as well. It made him a better player. I really recommend reading El Macca. It'll give you a better idea of what went on at Real Madrid, and the reasons why he wasn't playing every single game etc

  • Will do. Cheers mate.

  • The only two.. will you get real.

  • Name some clubs that have won more.

Oh maybe you mean Liverpool don't sell as many shirts in Korea.

Not sure about you but I'd rather 18 league titles and 5 European Cups.

  • Premiership titles to date : 0

Always the history lesson with you cunts.

  • Whats the problem?

    Your club not got one?

  • Oh they do, they have 10 infact.

  • Ahh a United fan. So when you went 26 years without a league title you suddenly became a small club.

No you didn't. Because thats a load of shite.

Big fan base, lots of trophies = big club.

Your club's history is what makes your club. I'm surprised a United fan wouldn't understand that.

  • I didn't say Liverpool were a small club, you said only Real Madrid and AC are bigger than them and that's bollox. It's opinion based and inaccurate. Manchester United and Barcelona FC are bigger, the fact you support Liverpool is no reason to ignore simple facts.

  • A simple fact would be that Liverpool have won as many European Cups as Manchester United and Barcelona put together.

Neither Barcelona or United are the biggest club in their country.

Please don't bother replying again, as I certainly won't be.

  • You're confusing amount of trophies won in the past with amount of club supporters you twat. Liverpool aren't the biggest club in the Premiership.

  • the top flight league is division 1/premier league, united have 17, liverpool have 18. liverpool are the better club regardless of how successful you have been between 1993 and now. liverpool dominated two decades the 70's and 80's where as united have only dominated one, the 90's. and please dont tell me or the other liverpool fan, united has more supporters because only 40% are real fans. where as liverpool have as much supporters as united but more are real supporters

  • History books again.. They've never won the Premiership. That's the simple fact of the matter. Liverpool are inferior in every aspect.

  • the premier league is the league, its amazing how you stupid think its a new trophy. they're not inferior they're still the most succesful in england.

  • If i'm not wrong being successful between 93 and now is close to 2 decades as well!

4 Leagues, 1 FA CUP and 1 CL and the decade hasnt even finished yet!

As for your fans comment! what constitutes REAL fans? and , AS MUCH supporters? well idiot, if im not mistaken.. united are a richer club than liverpool - Healthy sales in foreign countries esp asian. let me do the maths here, if liverpool have as many supporters.. why isnt liverpool richer than united?!

  • richer? yes they richer because of they owners who more richer than ours they wouldnt be richer than real if werent for them, a real fan is someone who follows they club properly, ie watches games, goes to games etc, not some idiot from say japan or something who just buys the shirt and hasnt got a clue about the team. healthy sales in foreign countries? that again is down to the owners and maybe those idiots from sky. 4 leagues 1 f.a cup and and a cl? chelsea have won has much as that and..

  • yes, in terms of success in their league and europe, ac milan and real madrid are the only ones better than liverpool, fergie has had god knows how much money in 22-24 years and has only manged to win 2 european cups, where as bob paisley has hardly any resources and won it 3 times in the space of 9 years, and back then there were no group stages so it was a lot harder. in future you get real.

  • How much has Benitez spent and how many players has he bought in since his arival? Get your facts straight before you start mouthing out of you. It's hard to win the Champions League and The Premiership together, Fergie has a treble and a double.. counter that with reference to your big history book now you twat.

  • yes its harder to win them together, what i was saying back then it was lot harder then now, hes had a treble and double yeh, but i took him 9-10 years alone to get his first double then an extra 5 to get the treble. whereas paisley got the double in less time and fagan succeded him, who had been in charge for only a season got the treble.

  • its funny how you think benitez spent loads, when he hasnt, hes had 20m max to spend a year till the yanks came, he didnt even spend the entire 20m a year. fergie has paid over the odds for players like rio, rooney, berb, veron and others.

  • Benitez has brought in 32 players and spent over £127 million in his time at Liverpool, flops and failures. Get your fuckin facts straight.. do you have a clue or what?

  • you dont seem to have a clue, yes he has, but theres flops and faliures you on about where sold for more (and were bought for less than 10mn unlike some of chelsea's and united's flops. or we got a free eg. voronin.

  • Yea, he's useful isn't he? Robbie Keane.. waste of money. Benitez is a clown.. any other club in the world wouldn't have put up with a manager like that so long. How much did Vidic, Evra, Ronaldo, Nani and Anderson cost UTD? Berb, Rooney and Rio.. When we make big signings they're WORTH it and stay in the team, not sign 5 retards for 5 million and watch them all flop one after the other. How about Giggs, Neville or even Scholes how much did they cost Fergie to buy?? You're a twat.

  • Benitez isnt a clown hes a good manger. 'any other club wouldnt have put up with a manager like that for so long' its called giving a manager time, something fergie was given in his first 9 years. fergie has been at utd for over 20 years while benitez is in his 5th year. when he arrived i seemed to remember he had a 5 year plan, winning the f.a cup and champions league were a bonus, btw it takes a really good manger to pull off what he did in 04/05 not luck.

  • Time to bring in 32 players and spend 127 million? Time for what? Liverpool are considered title condenders every season.. what did he need 5 years for?.. to see which of the 32 players works? What are you on about Fergie and his first 9 years? He won the FA after 3, the League Cup and Super Cup in his fourth then from '93 on.. you know the Glorious rest. You don't know your stuff mate.. simple.

  • no time to build a squad, its what fergie did hes first 9, if he didnt, they wouldnt of won the title in 93.

  • a champions league trophy, a champions league final, an FA cup... yeh they were all flops and failures...

  • To buy in 32.. 32! players and spend £127 million is ridiculous. How can you get away with having such flawed judgment of players and still be let carry on. He's bought some stinkers in. That's why the club and fans are calling for more than them slim pickings. The FA cup.. marvelous, well done.

  • This discussion is quite simply.... dumb! 32 players? over half of those have gone straight into the youth team... which have won the youth prem an F.A cup! Another percentage of those players have been on free transfers! which brings us to those who have made it into the first team... Mas(18.6)= new arg captain; Torres(20.6)= currently the best striker in the world; Reina(6mil)= 3x Golden glove; Robbie Keane(20mil)= to early to say but previous league top scorer.

    - Agger,Skrtel,Reira,Alonso!!

  • voroinon kuyt gonzales a load of nobodys from lower leagues liverpool r a load of shite

  • One of my fave players ever. Macca and Robbie the spice boys!

  • From Madrid. Best English player ever to play at Real Madrid.

  • name of the song?

  • i would have been rather pissed off defending against him.

  • the only english player that I got respect for. Steve Mcmanaman; You Kick ass!

  • best of..ha wait till you see the worst of.

  • christiano ronaldo vs stevie mac well theres no comp maccer anyday if he was still around now ronaldo wouldnt be should a big headed twat he is as maccer would be the most valuable player

  • what's the music

  • england and liverpool legend.

  • Liverpool+Real Madrid+Iraklis FOR EVER!!!

  • He is my idol.Steve you are the best!!!

  • 1;31 has to be one of the best goals ever

  • great player no doubt.....fuck the los galacticos or whatever they were called! When they he left they stopped winning.Zidane too new how good and what he gave the team.wish there could be anther steve macca for lfc now...ynwa

  • if we (liverpool) had him now he'd be the final piece of the puzzle and the 18year wait would end this season but untill we sign 2 or at least 1 winger(s) of even half his quality were gunna struggle

  • It will be very difficult to find another player like macca. He is so so unique.Players like him are very rare to come by.

  • i agree with macca as a final puzzle. But we don't need wingers,we can do without but addition of barry and babel second season will help.macman was one of the best players.ynwa{we will win league this year!media keeps talking shit and writting us off but we have el nino and the rest)ynwa

  • look in youtube.. mac loi

  • The best of football plazers in field

  • I LOVE Steve McManaman!!

I love his playing style and how he curves the ball!

    Hala Madrid!

  • definitely one of the top player during his era.

  • I mean I'm not liverpool fan..but an awful team?rush, brian clough, collymore fucking robbie 'goal machine' fowler which macca set up alot.

  • highly underrated..think he did well in euro 96 which went down well, shame his mate fowler never got the same chance..awesome players.

  • my favourite vidoe on youtube by far

  • a great but an under rated english player, england will never produce a player with his talent and dribling skills

  • sssssshit music dude

  • Macca...I've been dreaming a lot, when I was a kid, watching his highlights on tv...he's the 90's football's symbol....fantasy and purity

  • This man kick the ball like hell... Macca ftw!!!!

  • the original ronaldo...one of my fav players of all time

  • Good work. Macca is one of the greatest.

  • Steve McManaman gran jugador ingles de los mejores en su poscion

  • macca is the coolest english player ever

  • bueno mcmanaman

  • What song in this Video ???

    It's good song : )

  • Panic! at the Disco - "I Write Sins, Not Tragedies"

  • I'm a big admirer, of Sven-Goran Eriksson, but i think the biggest mistake he made prior to the 2002 World Cup, was omitting Steve MacManaman from the squad, i would rather have had MacManaman on my squad than Emile Heskey any day of the week.

  • viva macmanaman

  • a fantastic player in an awful liverpool team

  • much better than Gazza, wat did he win? 1 fa cup, forget the SPL bull, macca won 2 champion leagues and 2 la ligas, select few englishmen 2 make it abroad, quote zidane ''steve is 1 of the best players i have ever seen'..end of.

  • wad wld it be like if he's playin for liverpool now. dey wun b strugglin ti find a winger. w/ macca, their wing probs r solved... kewell cnt be said in the same breathe as e gr8 macca. never will be.

  • Who is the singer and the music ?

    Thak's

  • crack !!

  • for a football player who has ever wear liverpool number 7, Harry Kewell is nothing compares to Macca.

  • he moves like cristiano ronaldo

  • 2:15 : Fuking Hell!!!!

  • mcMANAMAN is my all time fav

  • liverpools giggs

  • that is so true!! Real Madrid fans always loved Macca, he was a unique football star, like Santiago Solari. I saw him play a few matches in Bernabeu, he was brilliant and everyone knew it. If only Del Bosque hadn't been so blind!!!

  • 2:15 Goal against Oviedo in Spanish Liga.. I WAS THERE! Right behind the left corner. I remember after that goal the whole stadium was waving their handkerchiefs all of a sudden, BERNABEU loved Steve, it was our favourite player, fans went crazy when he left the bench to substitute Figo (Del Bosque was always very predictable) and he was one of the best things that ever happened to Real. Thanks Steve, Muchas Gracias Amigo.

  • inspite of me being a manchester united fan but...he was a hell of a player!..best left winger i've seen for england...

  • I think it's interesting that many of the contributors equate 'gay' with 'wrong' or 'inappropriate'. Maybe it says more about them....Anyway, I played against Macca as a kid (I went to Cardinal Heenaan) & even then you could see he was something different. Glad he became so big.

  • Un de los mejores jugadores que han existido, lastima que al venir al Real Madrid no le dejarán demostrarlo, debio quedarse en el LIVERPOOL. He's a a brilliant footballer

  • Por qué dices que no le dejaron? Si incluso marcó en la final de la copa de europa!

  • He had a great performance in Real Madrid, the team wouldn't have got as far in Europe without him

  • Lousy music Steve McManaman is my 2nd cousin and a brilliant footballer!

  • My image of mcmanaman has been ruined by this song. Please re-edit it with something better

  • dude youre such a FAG

    wtf

mcmanaman deserves a better song than this

    FUCK YOU!!

  • awesome player. fucking gay song. how does someone randomly think that song and video even go together? fuck i have that song

  • he was better then i taught:)

  • truely GAY song!

  • very gay song

  • Good video mate

And i love the song, but not in this video!

  • SIR MACCA FOREVER
