Did you by chance happen to see any whale sharks on your dives?? and did you do Mary's Place at all while down there? I've been down to Roatan a couple of times and enjoyed every dive I did...
@Smythe1000 Sadly no whalesharks. There were some sightings while I was there, and I did spend several hours bobbing around in the ocean hoping to see them....... :o( next time!!
Mary's Place is a BEAUTIFUL dive site, but it's off the island of Roatan. I did dive Mary's Place while on Roatan back in 2008, but this trip I was only on Utila.
@Faithstalker that's a parrot fish. Their colours are much more vibrant in real life, my camera isn't the best, plus there is limited light the deeper you are.
You need a flat lense with a red filter and some residual lighting...then your gopro will rock!
