Sega Rally is a pure classic. :D. I use to really enjoy watching the replays of my driving/ driving skills after finishing the Arcade mode. Lol. Mainly because of the background music, but also because of the way the camera angle always changed too. The memories. :D

Pretty confident I used to hold the world record for desert course. Delta in 54.40 seconds. never seen any feature times better than that. I held the record in a few computer magazines and i also submitted it to guiness reocrd book but they never published it.

Mate if youre talking the championship mode as in 1 lap of each course, that is a pretty damn smokin time. If you mean pratice mode doing 3 laps of each then its pretty average!!! ;)

Actually No, no offence but I don't think you were ever actually on top. I went back and checked my standing lap time. It was 53.96 and that was 10 years ago or so. I also hoped I was the quickest but there is a guy with a 53.75 that you can still view here today. My best flying lap times were - tuned car 52.39 stratos 49.65, I got a standard delta down to 52.87 though I've seen people suggest nobody ever beat 53 secs Best forest time delta 1.14.62 / Stratos 1.11.30 - Still have it

Yeah, the Lancia Delta is a better car. Doesn't look as good (it's just a box), but the handling is so much nicer. Good heavens, this was just about the best racer of the 32-bit era. It's tragic that other developers were never able to achieve anything similar on Saturn.

I played this game for a long time. In vain did I aim to hit the helicopter. When I play 1P, jump over a 2p's car in the desert! It was a moment I'll never forget. :)

That jump in Desert can let you catch a ton of air if you race it backwards. I had lots of fun when I discovered that. :^)
