@ilikepie5720 it has to do with pulses in the exhaust system. At a certain RPM these exhaust pulses bouncing around in the pipe work with the pulses coming out of the engine and the result is a sudden burst of power known as "getting it on the pipe". Different pipe designs can get the power band raised or lowered, depending on your needs thats why 2stroke and 4 strokes have different exhaust systems 2stroke for powerband and 4stroke for instant power but you are right the engine does help a bit

@fartsmellsfunny96 that depends. i watched a video on youtube where they took all kawasakis 250 and 450 4 strokes and 125 and 250 2 strokes and they had one guy test them all on a track. his lap times were very close to each other the 125 2 stroke could have been like 4 seconds slower than the 450 4 stroke, but 450 was the fastest. it all depends on a rider and especially if were talkin about amateurs or just weekend riders. engine seize will only make a difference in top pro races.

@2000kx1252 I think you could do it. The suspension has a certain amount of adjustability. I am 5 foot 9 inches and I can touch with my tip toes, both feet on the ground. Ricky Carmicheal was around your height, the only thing you'll have to do is lean to one side when you stop. A 125 and 250 sit at the same ride height. The 125 actually sits just slightly higher than the 250.
