what is the app. value of this classic? i have my eyes on a 1958 merc mk25 h.p .serviced by a reputable merc dealer. it was run in a drum and shut down.been in storage 2 years. beautiful o/b built the year of my birth. thinking about building anice stand to display in my garage . maybe to take it out a time or two . extremely clean. my friend paid 2000. for it 2 yrs. ago and paid 250.00 to restore hoses ,impeller,and carb rebuild etc. is it worth 1000.00?
