  • there is always something wrong with people according to him we are never good enough, people who dont know if they are saved or not, doing good or evil will determine on if you are worthy, dutch are so willing to believe such a man,an orator that can get you to believe anything, paul washer doesnt know how stupid these people are listening.what about God is love ,why so much talk of hell?there is evil and good, that is what you should be judged for

  • Love these messages from Paul Washer. God knows I make no excuse for my sin, but at the same time what a relief to rest in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

  • I wish the audio for this was on iTunes.

  • wow! this was just what I needed to hear. Dont look at your failiures look at Christ

  • Great teaching. I liked it best on How Paul was encouraging the Seminarian Student.

    That encourages me.

We never stop learning as Christians

  • what is the AXE commercial? Is that for real - did she say B@ll .... ? Wow!

  • agfigueroaa, Where is that in the Bible, keeping in mind that only Paul's letters contain the "revelation of the mystery" for this dispensation of Gentile (not Israel) grace? The term, "born again" refers to Israel's prophetic program; "justification" to ours.

  • @dfkuz If God allowed even one tiny drop of your sweat to help save you, it would diminish the glory that is rightfully His alone! May it never be!

  • Sorry, Paul, but this Texas boy has never heard of sitting on a gate like a horse, much less doing such a thing as a pastime.

  • Today we need messages which keep the foundation of Christ's work on our behalf in place and properly interpret our behavior after being born again. So many people undo the work of Christ and put people right back in a works-righteousness mode. I posted a video song to this page "What Would Keeping Be" based on 1 Peter - a wonderful scripture on how God keeps us by His power thorugh faith. I blieve God gave it to me to share with people struggling with a Biblical view of assurance.

  • Aww, Bullshit! The bible even says the kingdom of heaven is in each of us, and hell has the same address. Look to yourself, not some crap in some paradise that you will never see. We weren't meant to suffer on earth so we could be rewarded someday after we die. That is what the pharohs told the slaves in Egypt,. Do you think they were cared about their salvation? No, they wanted them to kill themselves and go without instead of doing what they should have and risen up and killed the pharoh.

  • @azmildman hey, try shedding some of that pride though really, I honestly think it would help a lot

  • :^: Good stuff

I was bemused to hear the Dutch translation in these sermons of his over there. I know it's only good manners, but I don't think I've yet met a Hollander who doesn't speak word-perfect English. :D

(eg; They laughed at his English telling of being bored with streets of gold. But then his "gift of encouragement" got two lots of laughs.)

(He translated riding the gate as a "rodeo" :D )

  • HOMOSEXUALS can be saved, even in the very act of their sinby believing Christ died for them! 1Cor 15:1-4. Power over sin comes only to those who are already saved. "Christ died for the ungodly." (Rom. 5:6) Sin is no longer the issue; no sin is being imputed to ANYONE today (2 Cor. 5:19-KJV). You either TRUST CHRIST or you don't. God doesn't require that you "turn from your sin" to be saved. NO REPENTANCE IS NECESSARY TO BE SAVED.

Read the good news at cangodsaveme (dot)webs (dot) com.

  • whoa dude which bible are you reading from. or the better question is do you read your ENTIRE bible. REPENTANCE IS NECESSARY. paul. the writer of romans. which you quoted. also go on to say even tho we are saved by grace through faith should we continue in sin? GOD FORBID!!!

  • my friend, I was once a homosexual. and i go to church every sunday before.i was even in the ministry,.then i go to school telling people im a christian and that i accept Jesus in my life, but im unproductive. the reason is there is no TRUE REPENTACE coz im still living a homosexual. not until God touched me one night and had to renounce my sin and had a real repentance...so my friend it is necessary to have REPENTANCE. True repentance where in you see there is change in yourself. God bless you

  • @dfkuz you are mixing "justification" with "born-again". Both are different, but happen at the same time.

  • I have been through this my self. There was nothing inside that would make me think I am saved. But when I look to Christ I have peace.

Call upon the Lord and you shall be saved.

  • I heard this story in another sermon of his, and it convicted me so! I was relying on my own works to make me happy (or, rather, depressed), and it was awful. Now, I find my joy not in what I do for God, but in God himself! Praise God for revealing the truth through men like Brother Paul!

  • Maybe..... Thanks though.

  • I'm too lost in my sin

  • @BOOTLICKER44 May the Lord lead you

  • fail at translating sometimes

  • As a homosexual I realise I can never be saved as God has some limits to his power.

  • John 6:37 "whoever comes to me I will never cast out." (ESV).

  • God does not have a limit

you are just not willing to repent

  • You . . . if you can repent, and throw yourself on Jesus you will be saved. The key is if you can repent, which is not any harder for a homosexual sinner then it is for a hetero sinner.

The Bible was written for you, too, my friend

  • No. Have you asked for him to show his power?

  • no, he isn't limited to his power.

just receive him and he'll give you his spirit so to help you make your life real

  • Friend, if you come to God and ask him to free you from your sin and you give your whole self to him and make him the only thing in your life worth living and dying for, he will come in and change you! We all have had some sort of sin that has hindered us more so than others, and it all stems from our disobedience to the LORD. I was caught in sexual sin as well, but you know what? The Christ freed me! There's hope for you friend! Just cast your crowns at his feet.

  • Homosexuality is no different from lying. It is not the "worst" sin as some might say. I sinned and went a different way that you did. God saved me from my sin, and He can save you. You have to want him to You have to be able to accept the "Go and sin no more." Are you willing to walk away? That will be your test. God has no limits, He just never forces His will on people. I wish He would, but God's ways are perfect. You can be saved.

  • @rmlrobl This is about controlling the masses and until you realise the government controls you and the church is taking your money on false pretenses, you will never understand. This is a song and dance routine and they are selling you a line of BS that you are trained to listen to. It saddens me to see people this delusional.Did God tell you personally about homosexuals? You are trying to mask your insecurity and prejudice behind your relgion. Read the ENTIRE book of Leviticus some time.

  • @azmildman -- Actually I've read Leviticus (and the rest of the Bible) several times all the way through, and am on my way through it yet again, and I'll do it again when I'm done, and again, and again, until I drop dead. Not only do I read it, but I meditate upon it (contemplate it), and I seek the Spirit of God to help me to apply it to my life. Doing this has taught me that what you're saying is silliness wrapped in wickedness. You are dead in your sins and the wrath of God remains upon you.

  • @BOOTLICKER44 You can be saved for nothing is impossible with God! I recently was listening to a Ravi Zacharias Q&A and one of the men in the audience spoke up about what God did for him.He was a practicing homosexual for 20 years(maybe more, I'm not sure) but God worked within him.It was not easy, it definitely was a process but he was set free by the power of the Living God!This is true for so many people.Lord bless you.

  • Thank you so much for this, Lane. It spoke to me personally!

  • AMEN!!

  • I love this man!! And I think him for telling the truth!!! PRAISE GOD!!!!! :)

  • YES, AMEN

  • Thank you Lane, I needed to hear this

  • what is he doing at 7:14?

  • Swinging on the doors.

  • Ah, pastor Paul has finally corrected his stance on the assurance of salvation! He nailed it here. That aside, I just wish men like him would preach about regeneration and holiness here in Portugal. People just gave up over here. 80% are Catholics who don't go to church. Those who are Protestants live like unbelievers and those who don't are quiet and don't share their testimony. A sad, sad country.

  • When was his stance incorrect?

  • nunfonseca -- I've heard Paul Washer speak on this in this manner, before. I don't think he ever taught that our good works give us assurance of salvation -- only that the sign of a regenerated heart is a desire for the things of God. Even so, I am glad Lane posted this, because some are being confused about Washer's teaching.

On another note -- your description of Portugal sounds a lot like America. It is certainly a matter for prayer! God bless you.

  • In sermonaudio there's a certain preaching I've listen to where brother Paul say he once taught that the assurance for salvation came from the evidence of a regenerate life. Not exactly heresy, but it could have been confusing to some who were less informed of the whole of his doctrine. RedBeetle has some videos about this, but - of course - he goes waaaay too far. Listen to these with extreme caution and great discernment.

  • I love hearing your sermons. Thanks.

  • Great and sound in doctrines! PTL! Thank u.

  • Every sermon or clip I hear by Paul Washer not only uplifts and encourages me, but it also strengthens my faith. I think he is probably the most godly pastor I've ever heard.

  • I keep this man and his ministry forever in my prayers,he is a true light in a dark world,as you are dear friend and brother.

Blessings to you and yours !

  • It's a blessing always to hear Paul Washer.

  • Thanks Lane for posting this! I sure do hope this will not only strengthen young believers but also refute many of Washer's crtics who constantly accuse him of preaching salvation by works. Yes, we know that we are saved by God's working in our life, but that is not the ground of our assurance. Our only hope in this life is Jesus. When our hearts condemn we must look to him, for in Him we find the righteousness we seek and that God requires. Keep up the great work!

  • i wish this video was portable cuz i wish i could take it everywhere i go. and i really needed that.

  • wat language is that guy speaking? jw

  • I think it might be Dutch as there are other sermons of his on here that are translated into Dutch.

  • wow...

  • This is just what I needed to hear! I am still growing in faith and this has put alot into perspective for me.

Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • Honest question, if someone is weak in faith and repentance but faith is there and repentance is in action none the less, then the person suddenly dies, will they receive glory? Now, this wasn't a personal question but one I've always wondered. I'm struggling with sin however I think I'm in the young age of my faith and that's why I'm struggling so much but I am going deeper. Today I sinned the sin I hate and I was convicted and I desired God because of it. I have faith in Him. Am I saved?

  • "xRONx89": Think of this: Do unbelievers desire God? Are they convicted of sin? The Holy Spirit is what convicts believers of sin. Christians have the Holy Spirit and as a result, they struggle against sin where unbelievers don't struggle against it at all. It sounds like you're a believer to me. Keep looking to Christ and His finished work on the Cross for your assurance now. We are told that faith in Christ saves. We're not told there's a certain amount of it needed, just that it's there.

  • Thanks man, that really helped! I know I'm still young in my belief and I've got a lot of growing and repenting to do in faith. But I'm assured that in Christ I am saved!

  • @LaneCh how does one know if it is The Holy Spirit convicting you that you are sinning or if you just know that your are because you grew up in a christian home and you have been told that particular behavior is sin

  • @LaneCh Thats an awesome answer man. Seriously.

  • @LaneCh I'm struggling with assurance right now.for some reason I feel I'm lacking in something.I see other Christians and they seem different from me.When I watch sermons on assurance, I don't see anything pointed out that would make me think i am not saved but i struggle a lot with things like full surrender and love.I don't know what to do, i feel double minded.Sometimes I feel assured and other times I feel lost, like I damned to the worst parts of Hell :(

  • @xRONx89 Also faith is a fruit of the Spirit...it is NOT a human faith but the spiritual fruit that God produces through a regenerated believer for example:

Hebrews 12:2 He is the Author and Finisher

    Galatians 5:22 love, joy, peace...faithfullness

1 Corinthians 12:9 (God gives us His Spirit which produces different expressions through us as vessels...faith is given by the same Spirit)

Revelation 2:13 it is God's faith.

  • @easilysaid Early Church believers were called "of the faith" faith in Greek means persuasion...they were "of the persuasion".We are not to come up with enough faith in Him because that can be mistaken as "works". LaneCH is correct though bro if you are convicted than keep seeking the Lord and having your mind renewed by His Word.

  • great video, God Bless Paul Washer

  • It is kind of hard to understand and so with that translator. I'm not saying remove it, cuz the people who dont know english, needs to get this too. But if you or any one had time, it would be good to upload it only in english. And for the record, I dont have time.

  • I thought it was pretty hard not to understand, just a pause in between english. The foreign tongue (idk if it was russian or what) actually added a lot to the video for me, gave me perspective on the audience and I also wouldn't have known washer's ministry was in europe and elsewhere other than north and south america.
