  • Wow... Never watched this entire video before... This show deserved to die. Neither guy took responsibility for anything, and the tie guy was trying way too hard to go blow for blow with Stewart.

  • Oh my God... Guy with the bow-tie is like a Male version of Elizabeth Hasselbeck... Please someone make him stop talking..

  • Fucking liberals -_- fuck conservatives to for that matter. Fuck all you atheists and fuck all you fake "Christians"

  • This is extremely funny.

  • is that tucker carlson?

  • You know things are going bad when the guest begins to dominate the conversation.

  • Hahaha 14:00 Jon Stewart: "Well that went great!"

  • getting a camera, talking trash, making money, manipulating people, always been their No.1 occupation

  • John Stewart....just a slight a**hole here

  • 2:05 someone from sex in the city in talks to play tim allen's wife in the "shaggy dog"....how did that story make the news ticker?! on any network...

  • But he is a politician numb nuts.....

  • yeah.. bad idea treating a comedian as a politician

  • @LiberalBohemian Stewart is more a "limousine Leftist" or a member of the Hollywood liberal Left - a group that the hard-core Marxist Left feels little more than contempt for. Mind, I have little regard for any of these factions, but I would agree that Jon Stewart doesn't have enough integrity to really stand firm with any ideology. He goes where his constituency leads him.

For a true, dedicated Leftist with undeniable integrity, I'd suggest someone more like Christopher Hitchens.

  • @DrCruel Fair enough. I'd agree Jon is a Hollywood Elite type of "liberal" like Bill Maher. Hitchens might be somewhat of a leftist, but he moved to the right or rather if you go by the left-right authoritarian-libertarian axes, he moved towards the authoritarian side. He betrayed the left/libertarian side with his support of the wars. But yeah, he does have much more integrity than any of the media elite. But I would posit that a true leftist is Noam Chomsky. He's the epitome of integrity.

  • @LiberalBohemian Pardon. Christopher Hitchens never, ever, ever moved one inch towards "the Right". Ever. He was a committed anti-fascist, and opposed the Ba'ath regime in Iraq unequivocally because it was a fascist regime.Whether or not this disturbed the hypocritical fiscal plans of Leftists in the region was of no concern to him - but neither did he stump for the machinations of the crooked corporate contractors that ran the American end of the war.

  • @LiberalBohemian As for Noam Chomsky, I've had a hard time respecting his knee-jerk anti-US viewpoints since his back-handed support for the Khmer Rouge (see "Distortions at Fourth Hand"). I've had no respect at all for him since he began backing Hezbollah.

He lies too much for my tastes. He's certainly not an "epitome of integrity". But if you want to use him as an example of a Leftist who never deviates from Party policy points, I won't disagree. Throw in Ward Churchill too if you like.

  • @DrCruel Are you a Zionist and pro-Afghan War?

  • @LiberalBohemian Not to intrude on your debate, but... what does that have to do with what DrCruel was talking about? Or are you just changing the topics to see what he/she thinks about other stuff?

  • @Libertarian001 I'm trying to understand his paradigm so I can understand why he has certain conceptions.

  • @LiberalBohemian Well, asking him specifically if he's a Zionist and pro-Afgan War is rather... well, limited. One doesn't necessarily *have* to have those views to have his views. Just sayin'.

  • @Libertarian001 It would help to explain his animosity to Noam Chomsky. And you don't have to keep mitigating what you're saying with qualifiers like "sorry" and "just sayin". I'm not going to bite your head off.

  • @LiberalBohemian Ahh, that's good to hear, I was worried you would. ^^"

  • jon stewart 2012

  • Jon Stewart kicks ass. He fucked them on every turn.

  • Bow Tie Joe is being such a jackass

  • I would definitely punch that guy with the bow tie in the face

  • The Daily Show is my primary source for news and current events. Reading newspapers or magazines is a total waste of time. Jon Stewart has a great sense of humor that blends perfectly with his intelligence. Just look at his audience-young, sharp, and relying on this program to shape their views on the world, not just America. Jon Stewart is completely unbiased when it comes to politics-he treats all views with wit, humor, and respect. It's great to see a true American doing what he does best.

  • damnnnn I bet they regret asking Jon to come on!!

  • wow........ i dont like jon stewart after this......... he is a bit a bi** i just sit back and poke fun but everyone else needs to work together lol it is weird i normally like jon

  • Jon is one of the best humans, but I do think he is a bit too weak and 'pander-y' when he interviews people. I know it often used to give a 'break' from the more political stuff, but now I generally just stop watching when the interview comes on.

  • Jon Stewart NAILED Tucker 'Dick' Carlson.

  • @LiberalBohemian John Stewart nailed himself, coming off as the worst sort of hypocritical arse. Tucker Carlson, out of an undeserved sense of politeness, did not forcefully call Stewart out on it until much later - well after the show had aired. Only Stewart's sophomoric fans, who are pleased with his antics so long as they are controversial, had any misconceptions about the sort of fool he made of himself.

  • @DrCruel Buzz kill. Thanks for calling me a sophomoric fan btw. Regardless, you could not have possibly gleaned my mind from such a short saying. So leave the insults for those who clearly are worthy.

  • @LiberalBohemian I did not call you a fan of this hypocritical twit, sophomoric or otherwise. I said he has many fans who are sophomoric, an assertion of which I've had ample empirical evidence to be comfortable with. You chose to fill in the missing parts of your syllogism of your own free will.

  • @DrCruel I don't disagree with that assertion. I know of his "sophomoric fan"base. But since you were replying to me, I assumed your assertion was being applied to me. Anyway, I understand your point. I think Stewart is too weak willed when it comes to making any bold moves that would indicate true passion, but I still get pleasure in his putting down of the other puppets of the media, especially Tucker Carlson.

  • @LiberalBohemian You can assume what you like, about me or what I have to say. I'll correct you, but what you ultimately believe is out of my control.

What I'm saying is that he's as much a media puppet as anyone else he attacks. I think his argument is that everyone else is too weak-willed to push Leftist product, and he wants to show them how it's done. He reminds me of Alec Baldwin in Glengarry Glen Ross.

  • @DrCruel No need to be so contentious though I guess it is understandable, being on YT. Of course he's a "media puppet"; he's on TV. The only people allowed on TV are authoritarians. I disagree slightly though: I don't think he is a leftist. I think he longs to be, but he's too conformist to really get outside the centrist box. Yet he does have this attitude of trying to make uniform all the news media to be like himself. And yet he pretends not to by proclaiming himself to be "just a comedian".

  • @LiberalBohemian I'm not being contentious so much as honest. By contrast, Stewart's contentiousness is intended to improve his market share, and to cater to his sophomoric fan base.

Mike Wallace wasn't a media puppet, nor was Ted Koppel. Jon Stewart is one because of ideological inclination and personal choice, as well as personal profit. He is a prime, deliberate example of what he pretends to so despise in his ideological adversaries.

  • I feel bad for John having to put up with those hacks.

  • LIKE A BAWS!

  • How scared did they get when JS started getting to the truth? Oh, shit! GO TO COMMERCIAL!

  • 2 breaks in 15 minutes ? Just how much commercial is there in US TV ?

  • @CloneWarrior001 the commercial breaks aren't long on news shows like this. For every hour of programming probably a total of 15 minutes

  • @bphutchins That's pretty standard on all television shows...

  • @CloneWarrior001 As many as you need when your guest is tearing you and the other host a fresh new asshole.

  • Jon Stewart is a god.

  • Who is the bowtie guy?

  • I wonder how tense this ended up being

  • i'd vote jon stewart for president

  • The dude with the bow tie, I can't remember his name, but he was once hitting on Canada for a ridiculous reason. I seriously piss on him.

  • HA HA HA HA !!!! he almost calls his mom ;o)

  • Tucker Carlson is like a high school student who can't stand letting the other person speak.

  • @8bitasplode Oi! I'm a highschool student who argues with grads and a few Doctorates for fun. Actually, Doctorate holders do this much more, because no matter how many sources I cite and how much more about the topic I know in comparison, they just claim priority before I can even get my first word out in response, about 90% of the time.

  • "He's either the funniest smart guy or the smartest funny guy, we'll find out in a minute."

    He's both.

    DOUBLE KILL!

  • dont fuck with a jew, cause this is whatll happen to you

  • Whats with Wolf Blitzer? He's not talking all weird. :D

  • Legit, I would vote Stewart for president.

  • Love Jon Stewart. straight shooter, right from the hip.

  • awesome

  • Okay and I thought competitive Starcraft 2 was cutthroat, Damn Stewart.

  • Jon Stewart is a boss.

  • .... RON PAUL president with vice president John Stewart. i would like to live there.

  • left vs white

  • WOW!!! I felt embarassed for the two of them. It got hard to watch at a certain point

  • @bobdenilsen Haha! I had that same feeling.

  • jon stewart is awesome

  • This show was around for more than 2 decades. After just a few months of having Jon Stewart on it was cancelled.

  • Jon Stewart is a magician. His logic wins debates on TV. Then his fans will go to work and use Stewart's logic to win a debate with their conservative friends and then they lose the debate with the conservative friend. Amazing. Like when David Copperfield threw a blanket over the statue of liberty and made it disappear; I threw a handkerchief over a glass of water at home and it wouldn't disappear. Jon Stewart fans I feel your pain. Sucks don't it?

  • I've seen a few of these types with John ... Obviously a big advantage to all that are semi-intelectual, coming from CC ... and he plays that card a lot.

That said, purely based on argument ... He just kills ... Flame and disprove that fact, and I'll be impressed!

  • FINISH HIM!

  • BOW TIE!? OMG I JUST POOPED.

  • Jon owned the fuck out of em.

  • Wow. Good try Jon.

  • I found the dated commercials telling tho. One thing to be afraid of after another. It seems like the world is coming to an end no matter what Wolfe is talking about. I don't remember any of those reports really having an impact. Over-dramatizing those situations for ratings is certainly fear-mongering, which I'm pretty sure is exactly what Stewart was asking them to cease doing.

  • @NumberShift Seriously?

  • @NumberShift Troll troll troll troll troll troll troll troll

  • 14:13

  • Jon Stewart should do this on today's media whores, they are truly hurting this country and they give me migraines every time i hear them speak about politics, and they should be ashamed for what they are doing to Ron Paul, either they ignore him or when they show him they want to talk trash or about the other nominees..

  • did he just say black vs white...

  • @fartchunk he did ,...

  • Lesson: we HAVE to drag the media automatons off message. They're addicted to the teleprompter and the public are suffering because of it. That's why the Occupy movement is so hopeful: by use of their mic checks they are doing essentially what Stewart did by forcing the glib news men to discuss things honestly. Watch the video "Occupy vs. Top 1%" and you'll know what I mean.

  • Who is Jon Stewart ?

  • I love John Stewart. The unfortunate part of all of this is that people like John, and they're not many of them, will not be listened to by the ones who have the power to help instead of hurt. It's like Mr. Sanity running around trying to convince Mr. Insanity to stop playing this insane, hurtful, and harmful game year after year. America is at a critical junction with few sane minds who are screaming out loud to stop the bull crap and help the American people instead of themselves.

  • boom.

  • 1st Audience Question: What do you think the hump was on GW's back during the debate was?

Lmao. This is exactly the type of shit John was ripping on them in the first place for. It sums up the entirety of the point he was trying to get across to those two derps.

  • Jon Stewart has a huge political demographic, but when anyone puts him in the hotseat he claims to be "just a comedian". He probably influences politics more than naive people suspect.

  • @freewayman1 he says he's a comedian first. not "just" a comedian.

  • @Reiki8015 I don't give a flying fkcu what he says. Let's nitpick every little word I type.

  • @freewayman1 if you're going to criticize him on what he says, you should care about what he says. if you try to call him a coward by hiding under the title of comedian, you should listen to what he says at least. there's a big difference if he says "i'm just a comedian" an "I'm a comedian first." don't misinterpret his words to try to criticize him.

  • @Reiki8015 I cared about what he said for 15 years, now I'm criticizing him for playing the underdog card and calling crossfire (which i dont care if it lived or died) "partisan hackery" when he does nothing but push a diluted liberal one sided agenda. If this airing was responsible in part or in whole for the cancelling of this show then he is a political commentator first, comedian second.

  • @freewayman1 You apparently didn't watch his coverage of Weiner's sex scandal and how much he talks about Democrat submission.

  • I love how pissed off wolf blitzer looks :P

  • @markmisstexas When the show was cancelled, his commentary was cited.

  • This is a highly off-topic, Anyone else notice that Tucker's bow-tie makes him look like Steve Jobs unveiling the Mac?

  • can someone explain to me how this helped the show be cancelled? I understand that he made a mockery of the show and exposed it for what it was ... but how does that equal cancellation?

In other words, why didn't CNN just say, "oh well, disgruntled guest" and move on?

I'm not being an ass (or trying to be), I genuinely want to know

  • @markmissestexas Fans of Jon Stewart like to credit his "performace" with killing Crossfire. The fact is that Crossfire's ratings had already tanked, and CNN pulled the plug because of it. Crossfire didn't have a strong ideological bias or allegiance, which is what viewers apparently look for these days, and so failed in the polarized market.

The irony is that Stewart represents exactly what he accuses Carlson of, whereas the show Crossfire was actually a means to help resolve the problem.

  • @DrCruel

yea I feel like there's SO many other shows he could have attacked for being "hacks." I'm a fan of Stewart because he's FUNNY..I don't give two shits about party affiliation (because they're all a joke).

Getting that worked up over something that is NEVER going to change is silly.Stewart is acting as though the media is forcing it down the public's throat when the opposite is true. They put it on TV b/c the American people lap it up.

He has a problem w/US.Frankly, I do too

  • @markmissestexas He has a problem with integrity and honesty. He apparently feels he doesn't need any, and his fans are ready to enthusiastically back him up in this regard.

He doesn't have a problem with us. Frankly, he's part of the problem. THAT'S the "problem" I have with him. So why won't you admit it?

  • Bowties are cool. He makes them uncool.

  • "your as big a dick as on any show!" hahaha

  • @narupm Again, a bit hypocritical for Jon Stewart to come on someone else's show, be insulting and abusive for laughs and ratings, then accuse his abused host of being a "dick".

Tucker Carlson is too naive, and too nice, for his own good. If this jerk had tried to do something like this to me in a public forum, I would have torn him up. There's no point in showing tact and deference to an accomplished, professional dick like Stewart, and Carlson paid the price for it.

  • @DrCruel he didn't do it for laughs and ratings. he did it to prove a point. he pointed out that the show is awful and fake. whenever he tried to explain to them why they were terrible, they cut to commercial or tried to idiotically change the subject.

  • @Reiki8015 What Jon Stewart was trying to do was be an arse for fun and profit. You're right - instead of confronting Stewart's hypocrisy head-on, Carlson tried to placate him and be friendly. The problem with using tact on a self-absorbed prick like Stewart is that it only encourages him to bully you more.

Carlson should have noted that Crossfire tries to bridge the gap between ideological leanings and air out differences, whereas Stewart's antics cater to the lunatic Left fringe.

  • @DrCruel Ok, man, look. I've followed some of this argument for a while and I feel I have to say something. Personally, I agree with you that stewart has no right to claim to not be a part of the media. At this point, he is by far a member of it, no denying that. Ignoring that though, you and the three or so other people should really just acknowledge no one is going to acctually win this argument.

  • @el908 I'm not trying to change the world. I'm expressing the facts as I see them. Whether or not they are acknowledged as such is of no consequence to me.

I've met Carlson, in a debate he had with James Carville. "Serpenthead" destroyed him, mainly because Carlson is way too intellectual and benign. Like Stewart, Carville used mockery and bullying to undercut Carlson's fact-based arguments, and thus won the (reletively liberal) crowd over.

So I've seen this tactic before. I don't like it.

  • @DrCruel It's a blatant sign of arrogance to think that you or any of us will change the world just on a comments board. We're not going to convince everyone else, in the end, all we'll do is fullfill the law of innevitablities (I know there's an alternative name, but I can't think of it) and just have the argument grow until we're all reduced to the un-refined, brutal cores of our philosophies and the elitist ideas that come from both the right and the left.

  • @el908 To assume that one must be successful in the end to even try? This sounds like a world of cynicism, even competitive, social cynicism that you live in, DrCruel. In your world, the best person is the one who has been witnessed making the fewest mistakes.

Well, gee, just think of Columbus or Magellan or the Polynesian natives going off on an un-guaranteed voyage. Any self-important slob never venturing far from home would be the better person under you universe of innevitabilities.

  • @DrCruel Sorry this is long, I guess it's just been building up. I know I'm being just as arrogant for thinking I can stop this flame war, but it just seems needed to try and bring some form of peace. why don't we just stop fighting, realize the country was built by founding fathers of diverse beliefs, most likely ranging from left to right, and just embrace the fact at that's what makes our country great as it works for that best possibility, not just what one side wants. Thanks for your time.

  • @el908 This isn't a left/right issue to me. It's calling Stewart on what he is. There's no valid "alternate" view, regardless of ideological bias, because Stewart actually is a rather shameless Leftist hack.

  • @DrCruel I doesbecome something a left/righ issue when every oher commen bythe people in this argument accusses he oher of being a par of he lef or the right. You urn it into an argumen like hat when you call him out for being a lefist, rather han jus jus a hack. That turns it into one of these arguments, as it has slided into rhetoric before in this argument. Regardless, the point sill stands no one's being convinced of anything. We're all just arguing with someone who isn't gonna be convinced.

  • @el908 It does become was what I meant to write down at the start. My computer's kind of crappy.

Anyways, I'm checking out of this conversation, so good luck man, hope this ends well.

  • @el908 If I talk about Glenn Beck, I call him a conservative hack. By mentioning "conservative" in front of "hack", do I devalue my observation?

Calling Glenn Beck a conservative hack won't raise an eyebrow amongst Jon Stewart's fans. Mentioning that Jon Stewart is a Leftist hack will arouse personal insults in response. That alone should tell you something.

  • @DrCruel I was just laughing at something I thought was funny, I wasn't trying to make a point. To his defense though, he did make a good point. When Jon Stewart goes on actual news programs he is trying to make valid statements, with sarcasm thrown in. I'm sure he was frustrated by that point, I don't think he was trying to make a personal attack to Carlson.

  • @narupm "I won't be your monkey"...? "You're a dick" as friendly banter? Are you serious?

He came on the show specifically to insult and abuse Carlson, for no other reason that Carlson is associated with "conservative" views and his moonbat viewership would enjoy watching Carlson get bullied. His "points" were hypocritical to the point of absurdity - he was accusing Carlson's show of "hurting America" for doing what Stewart does for a living. When called on it he became even more abusive.

  • @narupm Stewart came on the show looking for a fight, primarily with Carlson (as Stewart tried to chide Paul Begala into joining in). He wasn't attacking the way news is covered in the US, although he used that meme as an effective cover. Instead he abused and ridiculed someone he perceived as an ideological enemy.

The best response? Tell Jon Stewart that Crossfire would do something to get partisan hackery off the show - then call security and kick Jon Stewart out of the building. Full stop.

  • Have you ever seen this bit ON WEEEEED ? ;D

  • @DrCruel btw, it doesnt help that u are completely missing stewart's point. perhaps if u read a book instead of troll the net all day you could come up with something relevant and intelligent to say.

  • @DrCruel dude stfu already. good god scrolling through the comments looks like u post every 15 minutes. have u no life? or is it really that important to u to make ur statements on the internet to a buncj of people u dont know and none of them care? get off the net and go do something productive.

  • What Tucker Carlson was saying is that for Jon Stewart, a Leftist advocate and apologist, to accuse others of "partisan hackery" is hypocritical. Jon Stewart's response is that Tucker Carlson wears a bow tie, then goes on to make personal attacks against the so-called "conservative" member of the pair almost exclusively.

The evidence is available to anyone watching the clip critically. Stewart is complaining about other people using his own tactics, even as he uses them. He's a weasel.

  • @DrCruel but what stewart points out is that HE IS A COMEDIAN. these people are on a "respected" news network which partisan "hackery" as he calls it and bias should be thrown out the window in order to educate the people that want news. Jon Stewart on the other hand, is on comedy central. if people watch his show to get the hard hitting news, than those people are extremely undereducated.

  • @nathangray12 Many of Jon Stewart's most devoted fans are college kids, who sing the praises of his "journalism". Jon Stewart isn't stupid. He's simply playing both sides of the aisle - being a journalist when it suits him to push the Leftist Party line, then dancing around his role when he's called on his partisanship. Meanwhile he rakes in the dough.

If he's a comedian, is his weasel behavior just an act? When he complains about the partisanship he participates in, is it just for laughs?

  • @DrCruel my god, is the only thing you can say Communism, Maoist, Leftest, and fascist?

you must have an IQ of about 70, i don't think i have EVER met anyone as goddamn retarded as you.

i bet you have to spell check everything you say lol.

  • @DrCruel Derrrrr look at me, i can use words like antidisestablishmentarianism and it make me look smart but i failed every spelling bee sense 3rd grade derrrrrr

  • @Dalvanara I don't doubt it. Your obnoxiousness does seem to have at the base of it a strong dose of deliberate, well groomed ignorance. But why tell me? Misplaced pride? A witless showmanship?

Come to think of it. wouldn't these descriptors apply to Jon Stewart's "comedy" as well?

  • @DrCruel When Nancy Pelosi was on his show he was asking her valid questions about muddling a clear legislation into a long mess full of loopholes. She was weaseling on the answers. I think Stewart has valid concerns about the country and expresses them through comedy. That is not weasel behavior.

  • @saskkoo Sure. Jon Stewart isn't loyal to the Democrat Party, he's loyal to the Left. He likewise criticised President Obama for not being forceful enough on pushing the Left's agenda.

I think Jon Stewart has an ideology to push, and that along with keeping his ratings and income high are his chief motivators. That he pretends otherwise, even as he pushes his self-serving Leftist agenda in the same breath, is exactly what I would call "weasel behavior". In that he is no different than Pelosi.

  • I don't think most of you get what he was trying to say. He wasn't saying anything about left or right. He was commenting on the absurdity of the media.

  • @tombballgolf Of course. The problem is - despite his frequent denials - that he is part of the media. What he's actually trying to do is have it both ways - be a well-known partisan hack for the Left, and then later decry that there are so many people who are partisan hacks.

This is known colloquially as "being a weasel". I'd claim his fans damn well know this, but deliberately choose to lie about it, and to insult those who quite plainly state the obvious. It's pretty cheesy stuff.

  • @ Dr. Cruel and those who argue against him: It is pointless to continue to refute this person's comments because he is obviously missing the fundamental point Jon Stewart is bringing forth. Debating left and right politics is ridiculous because all of their PAC contributions come from the same corporations. The issues crossfire debated were irrelevant. Let him live in his misconceptions of fair tax brackets, honest lobbying, and partisan politics. You can't make the blind see...

  • @JasonTingle09 *sigh* your not wrong, i guess i just feel like i have a duty to call the stupid .... stupid. if i don't people start to think they might be telling the truth.

  • @Dalvanara No ... but you do feel it is your duty to front for your sacred cows, and Jon Stewart is one of the most sacred.

God forbid people hear criticisms that deviate from the Party Line. As the sacred Limousine Liberal ideology teaches us, we peasants can't think for themselves. That's why it's so important for sanctimonious twits like yourself to call us all idiots. Why else employ people like Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann to that purpose?

Have you any idea how obnoxious you are?

  • @DrCruel my god, talking to you is like talking to a wall.

    Me: your making up facts

You: LEFTISTS ARE GOING TO KILL US ALL!!!! COMMUNISM COMMUNISM COMMUNISM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am done talking to you.

  • @Dalvanara oh one more thing, i did read The Black Book of Communism back in collage about 4 years ago, to show (as my teacher told it) one of the largest most blatant distortions of history.

  • @Dalvanara Yeah, right. Nobody starved during the Holodomor. Nobody died during the Cultural Revolution. No Leftists were stumping for the Bolshevik and Maoist regimes while all this was happening. Noam Chomsky didn't write "Distortions at Fourth Hand" while the Khmer Rouge were running their killing fields.

Oh, one more thing. I don't like talking to a Left fascist apologist like you either. Your exit is welcome.

  • @Dalvanara No problem, kid. Feel free to piss off whenever you like.

  • @JasonTingle09 That is, the REAL enemy is the one the Left has claimed was our foe all along ... the capitalist exploiters of the working class. Really, instead of arguing about what side we should be on, instead we should rally together and do whatever it is the Leftists are telling us to do.

I suppose the short way of saying this is "Surrender Dorothy" or words to that effect.

Of course the fight is between "corrupt" and "not corrupt". So why is Stewart backing the corrupt people?

  • That dude with a bow wanted Jon Stewart to be his monkey but he got raped by Jon, on his own show!

  • That was brilliant, Jon Stewart is a hero. Anyone know where the daily show after this is? Would love to hear Stewart's afterthoughts. Im off to buy some of his books, I'm sold!

  • Haha tucker carlson (guy on the left) during the first half of the interview is all bright and bubbly then in the second half he looks like a caveman cuz he knows Jon is calling him out on all the right reasons and refusing to let them distract him from his message.

  • Dude with the bow tie is fucking annoying... Stewart should stick to appearances on Fox.

  • I love this fucking video! John Stewart is amazing!

  • I love how "DrCruel" is squatting here like a homeless person.

  • I just love this video. Jon's face at the very start shows a genuine hatred for the show he's on, but when he starts his attack the reaction seems to be "ooh, you're so funny Mr. Funnyman".

  • Am I the only one thinking that the time is ripe for someone new to come along dedicated to taunting and ridiculing and skewering John Stewart and Colbert? I've had about enough of them. The freshness is gone.

  • The hosts had COMPLETELY lost the audience by the end. They got destroyed.

  • The part about being thirty five in a bowtie is still brutal years later

  • Jon Stewart was so epic in this vid it was studied in one of my Media classes

  • Ron Paul 2012!!

  • these guys are just...fucking belligerent fools..

  • that dude with the red bowtie is a loser. they dont know the difference between jon and their own show. jon is satire while theirs are SUPPOSED to be SERIOUS NEWS when they are NOT. jon stewarts position is so much more flexible and enables him to take the piss and be serious too.

  • 240p, we meet again

  • I love that he got this show cancelled.

  • @progression101 "Inside every cynical person, there is a disappointed idealist." -George Carlin

  • All Jon Stewart does is make stupid fucking jokes about everything. Stupid liberal

  • @progression101 He's not all that dumb. It's more of an issue with moral bankruptcy and lack of personal integrity. He simply says and does what his monkey followers want, whether it's true or not. He's sort of a hipper version of Bill Maher without the intellectualism.

  • @progression101 lmao what.

  • This show get cancelled yet?

  • i might not agree with all of jon stewarts politics, but damn that man is an inspiration. his integrity is above that of most news outlets.

  • Its sad that the most honest news show on television is a parody show.

  • @piscian18 It's sad that Leftists have sunk so low, that they need to couch their worldview as comedy to get anyone to take them seriously. Mind, that's the smartest bit about the show - if you're going to lie about and misrepresent people and events, it's a good idea to pretend it's all for laughs.

  • @DrCruel You don't have a clue what a "leftist" is, you fucking twat.

  • @brandonabell I'd think an obnoxious, self-righteous jerk like yourself would be a good place to start such a definition. By the short hairs, it's someone who thinks they are entitled to the wealth and property of others, just by virtue of wanting it.

It's not a logical assertion. That's why Leftists so frequently turn to mockery, insults and abuse to defend their otherwise arrogant, kleptocratic arguments.

  • @DrCruel There are no leftists outside of a state of war or revolution. You really need to stop listening to closeted masturbatocrats like Glenn Beck.

Leftists, by definition, are the group violently opposed to the existing power structure. The revolutionary patriots in the late 1770s, for example, were leftists. The "right" was the monarchy and its supporters (and lackeys). What is "right" or "left" changes over the years, and is not some political ideology.

  • @brandonabell Yes there are. Leftists belong to a transnational criminal syndicate that is always active, whether the nation they are trying to usurp is at peace or war. That's from personal experience, not from anything Glenn Beck has said - although if he's said as much, good on him.

Leftists are violently opposed to alternate regimes, mainly because their stealing requires that they be in power. This frequently puts them at odds with other Leftist regimes.
