@RodMacPherson Yes, for the $50. There is rumour going around that the $20 bill will get the polymer treatment later in 2012. The $10 and $5 bills will be issued sometime in 2013, from what I read.
@jihoo134 So far the $100 was made plastic. There will be a new $50 bill in March, and I heard rumour there will be a new $20 bill later in 2012 (wondering if the release of the new $20 bill will commemorate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee?). It is announced that the $10 and $5 bills will follow suit in 2013.
