My friend (POPCORN454545 just figured out that the small tesla wheels fit PERFECTLY inside your cylinder model. Might be of relative use to you, enjoy!
Erm, the engine still uses sliders, you can clearly see the black lines inside the cylinders. Creating a perfectly hollow chamber that matches the models contours in source is impossible due to the size of the model, but it has a basic 8 sided "hole" in the collision model on each cylinder (which was a pain in the ass to do.)
If I made the block like 6 times bigger, I could do a full collision model, but that would be mostly pointless.
I know it still has sliders and uses no-collide. I meant using a slider on each cylinder and having six separate models, one of the cylinder for each piston.
u use a "Slider" for pistons???

Can you please upload that Airco DH2 on your facepucnh thread?

@crick3497
No.

@GGigabiteM I mean there's a picture of it on your facepunch thread...
Why won't you upload it? It's amazing!

@crick3497
did you miss that big fat BAN picture under my account? It's not there just for show.
I'm not required to upload it anywhere, especially to ungrateful retards on FP that have stolen my work in the past and claimed it as theirs.

@GGigabiteM Well, I can't argue with that. Maybe we can build together sometime.

@GGigabiteM Im very curious. How come u use upforcing thrusters instead of forcing down? Is there any benefit?
Peetah16 1 year ago
@Peetah16
More compact design, less problems with slider rape, easier to attach them there.
I don't use thrusters anymore though.

@mwhite112393 yay, maybe popcorn can stop making LOCOMOTIVE ENGINES on his trucks LOL (I love pop's stuff but his engines are a LITTLE TOO BIG)

I love the "cast cylinder block" look, much better than using sliders. Great work.
I'm working on adapting some similar engines, such as adding a motor-driven turbo and adding a starter motor. Love your work.

And please, PLEASE tell me you are updating your SVN with these!
mwhite112393 2 years ago
I'll release an update soon. I need to redo the other crankshaft models and possibly make a two cylinder block version.

wow thats very nice and clean! do you put your models on garrysmod (dot) org?

No. I got tired of repackaging it every time I wanted to update it. I have a SVN repo which has a link on my profile page.
