While you've gotten dissed twice, I actually somewhat agree with you. For every nice, cute little detail they added, they added another glitch. In their pursuit of "realism," they basically force the numbers. I play every game (no simulating), and I can't even tell you how many times the computer has totally fucked me over. And the hitting just...isn't real. They should have studied the hitting mechanics in MVP Baseball 2005. I still love the Show though. But it's not as good as last years.

Yeah, I wrote that comment when I was pissed because the alleged "comeback code" had just cost me a huge lead. On default settings, the computer hits impossible pitches for extra bases with great regularity. But after lowering the CPU contact two notches by using custom sliders, I'm enjoying 09 as much as, if not more than, 08. I still lose games when I make mistake pitches, but I'm also not blowing ten run leads in the 9th. But yeah, I do think the default settings force the numbers, also.

I feel you on that one. I just hate adjusting sliders because it feels like I'm cheating the system. And man...I want to win, but when you cheat to win...it's just unsatisfying. I don't even stack my rosters. Hell, I actually go after the prospects. The Nats have a TON of good prospects :) But shit, if the computer is going to do nothing but fuck ME....then i guess it's time to adjust the sliders...

I agree. It's not cheating if the system is somewhat faulty to begin with anyway. I remember adjusting sliders last year to make it harder. I rationalize by saying that I adjusted them this year to make it "more realistic".

And it is; as I said, I still lose sometimes, but I blow huge leads way less often.

Theres no need to worry about feeling like your cheating the game. You have to personalize the sliders to allow for the most competitive and realistic contest. No need to feel guilty bro.

It's just an in game option on MLB the show. Once you make the video it saves to your PS3 and you can throw it onto a flash stick and put it up on YouTube.
