prove that i am wrong . you are the only one in the world who dont know that greece got the biggest merchant marine, with 100% given to the army in war time . turkey got only 56 ships in war time from merchant marine
@hetfield15 Turkish merchant marine is > 600. Yes Greece has the largest merchant marine but they make nice target practice for Turkey who produces stealth ships (Milgem, MRTP 33, NTPT, eventually the TF2000) and will produce stealth fighters (F-35). Even with the 4000+ merchant marine fleet which is scattered all over the world (Athens for us tops 2 weeks) you cannot compete against 200+ navy warhips, 600 merchant marine, 1000+ fighters & if need 20 mil troops +10k land assets. :)
@murattk22 You mean 400 fighters , 130 war ships , 600 splited merchant marine , and 4 mil troops (turkey got equipment for 4 million troops ) , My opinion is that if greece attack turkey greece will lose and if turkey attack greece turkey will lose .
@hetfield15 Your correct about the merchant marine, like Greece it is all over the world and wont be much help in a war however your mistaken about everything else. Turkey has vast reserves of war materials. The east is practically an arms depo & it can equip 20 mil troops if need be. Furthermore the air force fleet size is more then 1000. 300 F-16's in Cyrpus alone. Not all of our forces face Greece, most of it is deployed in the east where their is a civil war & for another big obvious reason

The F-16's are at the very minimum 300 all the sources listing as 930 aircraft are old as Turkey does not give out exact fleet size but a restructure of the military took place in 08/09 that focuses on response as an army rather then per division basis.
