  • yes a great bike i love my storm lots of fun

  • I own one of these. It is an awesome bike!

  • Very nice machine very quick strong torgue. Rode one at a Demo day I owan a Triumph America if the T-Bird Storm was out it would be in my garage instead but I can't afford to trade up

  • Just took a test ride on one of these yesterday. Very nice. Accelerates very briskly, handles not too bad (it does ground out fairly quickly) and looks great. Would I trade in my Speed Triple for it? Dunno. Would love to have both in the garage if I could afford it.

  • @bvivers Cool! I'm trying to decide between this, new street triple R and speed triple. All three seem like great bikes, haven't had time to test ride them yet. Would be cool to find a bike that is cool to ride and doesn't constantly encourage me to drive 200kph (street triple R could be great but is it any fun if you don't take it to tracks/ race it?) It'd be for normal commuting and occasional weekend trips of 100-200km :) Any recommendations? Cheers!

  • @MikaJuP I have a 2007 Speed Triple and it is a fun bike to ride but it BEGS to be driven well over 100kph and is most fun when leaned WAY over. Sounds to me like you want a cruiser. I am planning on getting a Storm as my second bike because I want a cruiser but can't stand the thought of selling my Speedy 3.

  • @SnailPowered Yea I'd too take both STriple and TStorm if I could :) Just seems that a cruiser like that could be too much for a 27y-old :))) Wonder how it handles in a town (don't ride SO much long rides)...

  • WANT.

  • HOT FUCKING SHIT.

  • Good looking bike, now slap a 17" Rim up front and call it a day...better handling and more tire choices than i would care to ponder about.

  • I bought the 2010 T-Bird in the Phantom Haze Red. I LOVE it. Handles very nice and the bolts don't seem to vibrate loose. I have no problems keeping up with or passing the Harley Screaming Eagle equipped bikes. Don't get me wrong, I still like the styling of some of the Harley models, but am glad I got the T-bird....

  • A dealership I won't name swears this obliterates HDs in every aspect and this dealer sells both and stands to lose revenue by recommending the T-Bird over HDs.

Says it's the best bike he's ever come across 30 years in the industry.

  • I much rather have the real deal. Harley Fat Bob.

  • @Curt8153 then why look at a triumph video and comment on it? Jackass

  • @jflexe99 Because i like laughing at all the HD copy cats. WETARD

  • @Curt8153 Triumph is a company that never had to copy to sell bikes...and their Bonneville T100 is more of an achievement than any Harley.

The only nice looking sexy bike harley has come out with in years has been the 48, and is still a primitive piece of engineering. Don't even say HD are bullet proof, all my friends have them and have problems, old and new.

I would much rather a Triumph over a Harley, Triumphs are more advanced, way better looking, more than just a cruiser bike company

  • Cool looking bike. I had a test ride on the 1600. If I had to be really really picky, it needs a speedo mounted near the bars rather than on the tank, in my humble opinion. I found it irksome to keep looking down to see the speed I was doing. I had an America and never really liked the tank mounted speedo with all the other lights on it. Maybe it's because I have ridded for 30 years without that set up. Beautiful bike tho that's for sure.

  • @uraldneprvw I hear ya with the speedo. I just got into motorcycles 2 years ago. I test rode a 2010 T-bird a few days ago and loved it, but I don't like the idea of having to look down at the speedo while I'm clipping along either; if Triumph ever came up with an aftermarket mod to put the speedo back on the bars they would make a killing. Other than that, kick ass bike...I pick mine up tomorrow. =)

  • This motorcycle will blow the pipes off any Harley, including the CVOs, in power and handling.

Out last them, and cost less to boot.

  • @Winterstick549 I doubt that very much.

  • DDDDDDDDDDRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Triumph still wants the Thunderbird Storm to look like a funky like a Harley copy with the gauge mounted on fuel tank? Only improvement for me would be a nice set of higher traditionally mounted Rocket or T100 style gauges. This way the the rider could actually see the gauges with a full face helmet on. I'm not fond of looking down with a helmet or without one!

  • @rotaxhead Good comment. I had the America for a while and I simply couldn't get on with the tank mounted gauges. I like the twin headlights but the guages ar a no no on th Storm.

  • great looking machine. coming to oz in jan/feb 2011. will be my next bike :)

  • Great machine need to put on some Foran Razorback pipes on great look and great sound. See my video !!

  • Wow!

  • How about cleaning thoses dirty fingerprints off the tank guys. Disgraceful!

  • Very, very nice!

  • Fantastic !!! Triumph have out harley'd HD. More Fat Bob than a Fat Bob !! I'm having one .... gotta put some slash cut Staintunes on it and then away we go !!!
