Man that was a great throw! I would love to see a video that shows your throwing technique. Does the bola rotate in the air like in the movies? How do you throw it and get it to fly like that?
@bensmithmusic There are two ways you can throw the bola. The first way (the way i used in this video) you hold the center of the knots, making sure they don't get tangled, twirl above head only about 3 times then release at the targets legs. When you throw this way, the weights should spread out then when the rope hits something, it causes the weights to wrap around the target. The second way is holding the smaller weight then twirl and throw, this way the whole bola will spinaround.
