When you first get this phone you have problems for the first month or so with random shut downs but then it starts to work fine and people are to fast to complain about the phone befor they have it for a long enough time to deterime if it is a good phone.

(It will also use much more and therefore be more expensive by using your computer unless you have an unlimited plan.) With an unlimited plan you can use internet as much as you want and the cost is fixed.

I can verify it will. Did this on my LG enV 3 last night, and both the tethering and net on the phone still work. A bit slower than my dedicated Verizon USB modem (it's revision A EVDO) 'cause the enV 3 only supports the earlier EVDO standard.

Hey buddy, I have vx9900 and you don't need username and password when connecting. Did they change this since there is are new plans you must upgrade to before getting this phone?

Never payed for anything that includes the Internet and VPAK. Just make sure you can access your account from the phone and you should be able to do it free.
