Your right, but your missing the point , he is supporting the network by watching it, but not willingly ; if it came on a different channel simultaneously or at a close within the same time you'd watch it on the other network. I'm not saying networks aren't benefiting from the viewers but, its basically between these 2 choices : Watch a show you really like on a bad network or don't watch the show at all. Your gonna most likely watch it on that network.
