I like how the Tyranid will never make a serious appearance for fear for relics fear of looking to much like SC. Though StarCraft was a complete ripoff .
@bracketdance i think its just because Tyranids are pretty much the stereotypical looking alien, when people think of "Aliens", right next to the greys. also they arent as cool as the other races in the series like The Imperiums forces, Chaos, Necrons.

@hellchild65 Single player is decent for a few playthroughts, and as a hack and slash it's fun. Story is fairly weak, and the characters are barely developed. Had a hell of a difficulty curve once the Chaos Marines get involved. Multiplayer is pretty good, but it helps to have a few friends go through it with you until you hit a decent level, or you'll get bored. Was a fun rental for me, but if you love 40K and the multiplayer rubs you the right way I'd recommend it.
I have the official soundtrack to 'Space Marine', and this trailer theme is not listed. Nor it is heard in the game. Most likely, this theme is only heard in the trailer. The best you can do is download this trailer and convert it into an audio/MP3 file.
exterminatus is not the explicit destruction of the whole planet , virus bombs are also available , just killing biological structures etc but leaves the planet mostly untouched ;) but u were right , in this video there is no exterminatus , just lance strikes ;)

Then a series of cyclonic torpedoes are launched that ignite the gas completely destroying the atmosphere of the planet. Then, a final bomb is launched that drills to the core of the planet and detonates destabilizing the core and causing the planet to rip apart.
They should make one for tau or imperial guard. I think it would involve more strategy than running through a crowd of tyranids getting shot countless times and coming out victorious. Now I know ur thinking it's just like the rest of the games with normal humans but how often in a game are there so many differing types of people. I think they should allow u to pick ur culture per say.

I just love this. A few gliches here n there doesnt affect the awesome gameplay at all. My friends u gotta beleive me , this game is awesome. Ive never bought a game that i regret. People need to get their fucking facts straight. This game is based off the tabletop wargame called Warhammer 40000 which came out in the 80s. The characters in this video were first designed (including the chainswords and whatnot) in the 80s and 90s. Warhammer didn't copy Gears or Starcraft, and they probably copied Warhammer. They're different games altogether. That said, Blizzard was supposed to make a Warhammer game but when GW backed out they still released a tweaked version: Warcraft.

Actually, the Imperium isn't that bad. The humans in the 41st millennium DO live in a technologically advanced society. But it reached its peak many millennia ago, the intermediate steps between technology forgotten. It means that the oldest technology seems to be the best.

What made this game , less than Relic`s previous Warhammer 40.000 games was not the gameplay, it was awesome ,and bloody.
What was this game`s weakness in my opinion was the voice-acting (or lack thereof)

People need to get their fucking facts straight. This game is based off the tabletop wargame called Warhammer 40000 which came out in the 80s. The characters in this video were first designed (including the chainswords and whatnot) in the 80s and 90s. Warhammer didn't copy Gears or Starcraft, and they probably copied Warhammer. They're different games altogether. That said, Blizzard was supposed to make a Warhammer game but when GW backed out they still released a tweaked version: Warcraft.

Actually, the Imperium isn't that bad. Really, it's no worse than any medieval society, just replace Space Marines with Knights, and the Church of the Emperor with Christianity The only reason most people see it as so bad is that in Sci-Fi, people expect our culture to advance with our technology. Meanwhile, in 40k, technology had increased,but our culture had actually regressed back into a medieval European state.

The humans in the 41st millennium DO live in a technologically advanced society. But it reached its peak many millennia ago, the intermediate steps between technology forgotten. Constant fighting and survival makes it difficult for people to devote enough lifetimes to the study of one technology, and that university graduates would be at an all time low. It means that the oldest technology seems to be the best.

you know that the imperium is hardly a leviathan big government right? it doesn't concern itself with the lives of its citizens jobs etc. it doesnt even control the under areas of its cities it just protects them from outside threats, though it obviously does so in a draconian fashion. although each planet has a governor, as long as it pays tithes its allowed to do what i likes, this includes setting up parliaments.
