By fifty times faster he's thinking about the time from you start downloading to you can start watching the movie. It's kinda obvious that downloading 2% is 50x faster then downloading 100% at steady speed (like if you max you connection). People are way to obsessed by kb/s these day to even consider that he might be thinking about something else. Basicly he's just talking about high quality streaming........
