Love your style! Wish more people could embrace their Eco-creativity like yourself. Nevertheless, your videos have inspired me and undoubtedly others! Thank you!
Ideas= Steel frame 4 hammocks? Dig the floor to give space for step down bench style seating? Great price for the level of insulation you get. Sure I bought an argosy camper for $2K but not all happen upon these deals your structure is repeatable off the shelf items. Your hot pocket sleep system is great too install solar panels and some coleman refrigerator parts to remove heat from the HHP and you have someone that can sleep during the day in total darkness and creep at night when cool.
Curious how the Gorilla tape works for you. Also really like the wooden "railing" inside with the desk. Might do something like that in my yurt. Come by and say hi 6:00 & Divorce, ask for Twisty with Otis Spankmore.
We've built something similar here in Boston and we're trying to figure out how to keep our pyramids from blowing away. How are those pieces of wood at the base keeping your pyramid attached to the ground? Are you also adding tape anchors?
This is awesome! Are the 2x4's along the inside required to keep structural integrity do you think? I want to try something similar as this looks like it's more roomy than the regular hexayurts, and a lot more comfortable, also using less than 12 pieces! I'll also be at BM2011! Come say hi at 2:15ish and Esplanade :)
Awesome structure. I'm building a geodesic dome for my shelter. I've just finished all the strut construction a couple of days ago. I'll be posting a video of the build soon. I'm going to be at BM 2011 as well this year, if I see your pyramid I'll stop by and say hi.

I live in Alaska, I can see why this would be nice up here. Zero snowload, easy to heat and light. Might be questionable in windstorm though.
