I was thinking about getting the 8 string Galveston for xmas, you think its worth it yeah? just wondering, what does the tapping and slapping action on it be like?

Ive since sold it, for lack of use of 8 strings, it was a lot more than I had expected from a 500 dollar 8 string, the action could be adjusted nice and low for a perfect slapping and tapping bass. The pickups are alright but if you want anything special id change them. Other than that its great.

Yeah I think I will go ahead and get it, I'm on a budget and havn't seen anything better in that price range! I can change the pick ups eventually!
