its true, tekken does not take skill because u cant easily button mash and win. DOA is where u need a strategy for offence and defend because countering can mess it up. i mastered steve fox, miguel, da kangaroo, bruce, kazuya and DOa is still better. ders a ton i can say but ill wait lol.
They are taking out the over-done sexual appeal on the girls in this game. Which is not a bad thing considering it was done way too constantly in the previous installments. Though some guys may not be happy about this.

Not to mention, the male characters usually wear open shirts or no shirts. In one of Zack's costumes, his zipper is undone and Ein wears a mesh shirt. So the guys either dress in little as well except for Gen Fu, or they dress like gay guys. If I, a straight guy, can tolerate the way the men are dressed, then why can't women tolerate it? Hell, I probably wouldn't care if every character could be nude at some point for some reason. The women give me something when my wife is... yeah.
point 2 on speed. in a 3d fighter they dont have a box style in resects cause they can utilize the 3d space with actually sidestepping into 3d and most the moves from VF, DOA, Tekken are based on real moves performed.so to throw a kick using a real life model wouldnt make sense to have them do it as fast as a UMVC3 speed kick. . next the girls. anyone who has a problem with jiggling breasts doesnt know anything about a female ..BOOBS BOUNCE! unless they have a iron cast bra on. lol next post.

Most fighting games these days are broken because of infinites and over powered juggles TEKKEN 6, MVC2 being one of the biggest broken games due to these but I can honestly say DOA, Soul calibur and a few others dont suffer from that bullshit, ESPECIALLY DOA seeing how you need to read your opponent to gain the upper hand and you yourself cant be obvious in your attacks

yo dj, you are aware that in terms of sexual content DOA is the most tame of all the fighters. Anna, christie and Zafina in tekken, Juri, Rose, Mika and Cammy in SF, All the girls in MK, Morrigan, lilith, felicia in DS/VS, and of course every chick but talim in Soul Cal. WTF who the fuck mentions Tekken on a DOA video. DOA is for fighters with skill Tekken is a game with no skill at all. I prefer DOA because its more realistic, the characters actually make sense (Creating a second version of the devil by using his genes wtf is that). To sum it all up, Tekken= easy to learn combos and moves DOA = you need practice to learn some of the best moves.
Either way I was just playing DoA 2: Hardcore on my ps2 a little while ago and I am so pumped for this game! Definatley on my list of games to get next year!
@LesaTube have you ever played virtua fighter? there's skill in tekken but its mostly a button smasher whereas VF has counters for basically everymoves and more moves than tekken...

I'm a huge fighter fan. I have played just about all the fighting games. Mortal kombat when the first came out for the ps1, street fighter 1-4, king of fighters 3 and 5, tekken 2-6, and as few of the cross games like marvel vs capcom. This game has the most interesting formula and plays the smoothest. It has a very in depth defensive system with a very complex countering system. My main issue is that it is easy to pick up the game and spam buttons and look pro, but being good takes much practice
Entertainment ? i think they should know what it is especially if it involve with the characters,we don't need destructible environment,leave that to BF3,what would be entertaining is getting a crisper and more clear detail on the characters~(i know some guys know what i am talking about even with my bad English) and also beach volleyballs....like last time
@yukido42 its not about destructible enviornments its about enacting with enviornments. all i hope is that the fighting isnt so flipping easy and that it doesnt look just like the last couple of installments. what they do as far as gaming/stage dynamics(hit by a car, jumping over obstacles, falling down stairs, character gaging etc.) im sure will be awesome. its what makes his games better than other fighters. thats DOAs fighting quality against other fighters flat stages.

Even though the game hardly ever does explain much about the story, the story is a very good one. I personally like DOA more than any other fighter because I like the movement, the character designs and the story. Hopefully with Itagaki gone, the series will be known for what a great game this is and can be.

@JunDageki I agree. Itagaki was all about sex and stuff, now with him gone, the sex too seems a bit toned down, which is good. Not only that, notice Hayate's look? He looks way different than previous installments, which leads me to believe that the series' famous anime look is now GONE. Which is also good (people bash on DOA for sex and the anime look). To back this up, look at Kasumi's look. Those teeth and that mouth do not look anime :) They're going for that realistic look :)

Then that douche bag Itagaki went to microsoft when they were making doa3 or ultimate or what ever it was called because it was easier to develop for xbox than anything else. I personally bought an xbox for DOA3 (at the time, I bought the DOA3 beforehand, and when my dad asked why I hadn't played my new game, I simply said I do not have an xbox with a sad face. He was mad, but a week later, I got a new xbox!) What I meant to say was that when the series stayed for the xbox, people bashed on it. @youngstert dude i know what you mean DOA is a difficult game to master but knowing tecmo because ninja gaiden is famous for its high degree of difficulty i think they are going to continue to make DOA games difficult especially because ninja gaiden and DOA are connected in terms of the storyline. because iv played the game franchises for years i think its safe to say that im somewhat good enough at the games but they are going to make the games progressively harder

@xXcorpitoXx I have beaten it perfect many times as well. That does not mean it isn't hard. Its attacks, specifically the grabs do massive damage. When one grab does 75% damage you know somethings not as easy.

@NanmanTheGreatOne It takes a 3-6 months to be a pro at the game. In order to be good you have to learn every characters combos and where each hit in the combos hit high, middle, or low or whether they're kicks or punches. any hit in any combo can be countered. counters do a lot of damage so u cant be predictable. Likewise if u grab someone who is countering, ur grab will do more damage. Once ur pro noobs dont stand a chance, unlike in tekken or Soul calibur

Most fighting games these days are broken because of infinites and over powered juggles TEKKEN 6, MVC2 being one of the biggest broken games due to these but I can honestly say DOA, Soul calibur and a few others dont suffer from that bullshit, ESPECIALLY DOA seeing how you need to read your opponent to gain the upper hand and you yourself cant be obvious in your attacks

yo dj, you are aware that in terms of sexual content DOA is the most tame of all the fighters. Anna, christie and Zafina in tekken, Juri, Rose, Mika and Cammy in SF, All the girls in MK, Morrigan, lilith, felicia in DS/VS, and of course every chick but talim in Soul Cal. WTF who the fuck mentions Tekken on a DOA video. DOA is for fighters with skill Tekken is a game with no skill at all. I prefer DOA because its more realistic, the characters actually make sense (Creating a second version of the devil by using his genes wtf is that). To sum it all up, Tekken= easy to learn combos and moves DOA = you need practice to learn some of the best moves.

I'm a huge fighter fan. I have played just about all the fighting games. Mortal kombat when the first came out for the ps1, street fighter 1-4, king of fighters 3 and 5, tekken 2-6, and as few of the cross games like marvel vs capcom. This game has the most interesting formula and plays the smoothest. It has a very in depth defensive system with a very complex countering system. My main issue is that it is easy to pick up the game and spam buttons and look pro, but being good takes much practice

@yukido42 its not about destructible enviornments its about enacting with enviornments. all i hope is that the fighting isnt so flipping easy and that it doesnt look just like the last couple of installments. what they do as far as gaming/stage dynamics(hit by a car, jumping over obstacles, falling down stairs, character gaging etc.) im sure will be awesome. its what makes his games better than other fighters. thats DOAs fighting quality against other fighters flat stages.

Hopefully this game won't have barely dressed women with no gravity bouncing boobs with a z cup as a size. I mean the trailer seems to be more focusing on gameplay rather than cheesy video game nudity. All we can do is cross our fingers. @DjComplex72 I understand your hate towards DOA since it rely's so heavily on the women's assets. But putting that aside, the game does have really good qualities. Even though the game hardly ever does explain much about the story, the story is a very good one. I personally like DOA more than any other fighter because I like the movement, the character designs and the story. Hopefully with Itagaki gone, the series will be known for what a great game this is and can be.

@JunDageki I agree. Itagaki was all about sex and stuff, now with him gone, the sex too seems a bit toned down, which is good. Not only that, notice Hayate's look? He looks way different than previous installments, which leads me to believe that the series' famous anime look is now GONE. Which is also good (people bash on DOA for sex and the anime look). To back this up, look at Kasumi's look. Those teeth and that mouth do not look anime :) They're going for that realistic look :)

Then that douche bag Itagaki went to microsoft when they were making doa3 or ultimate or what ever it was called because it was easier to develop for xbox than anything else. I personally bought an xbox for DOA3 (at the time, I bought the DOA3 beforehand, and when my dad asked why I hadn't played my new game, I simply said I do not have an xbox with a sad face. He was mad, but a week later, I got a new xbox!) What I meant to say was that when the series stayed for the xbox, people bashed on it. @youngstert dude i know what you mean DOA is a difficult game to master but knowing tecmo because ninja gaiden is famous for its high degree of difficulty i think they are going to continue to make DOA games difficult especially because ninja gaiden and DOA are connected in terms of the storyline. because iv played the game franchises for years i think its safe to say that im somewhat good enough at the games but they are going to make the games progressively harder

In order to be good you have to learn every characters combos and where each hit in the combos hit high, middle, or low or whether they're kicks or punches. any hit in any combo can be countered. counters do a lot of damage so u cant be predictable. Likewise if u grab someone who is countering, ur grab will do more damage. Once ur pro noobs dont stand a chance, unlike in tekken or Soul calibur

@xXcorpitoXx I usually master a character within a year of playing the game whether its doa sf mk tekken the works. But I see what you're getting at and your right. Aplha-152 wasn't very hard to beat once you learned what she liked to do.
