@RockFORD8371HAYLEY3B Don't know about the volvo but this was a good fit for this motor. I had to leave around 5500 when I had this motor just because it was a stick car, it made boost as soon as load was applied. Shift points were at 5200 as that was were the cam started to nose over
@aw73853 do you only do a second gear burnout at the track cause your in the water box or can you do this on the street too? i want to try it in my car but with a slipping clutch and 2.73 gears i doubt its possible maybe if i had 4.10's?
@hugoortiz05 There would be no need to do it on the street that I can think of, with 2.73 gears it would be hard on the clutch, most certainly on a wounded one.
wow that run realy good !!!!!!!!!! so let me get this strate thats a bone stock short block and bone stock heads ???? i am kinda wanting to do somthing simuler to what you did but i have a 308 with ported winsor heads 194 160 with a Bcam 1.7 rocker i just picked up a turbo off a cummins ram250 what do u think it would run ??

fuel injected with no tune. using several different methods to " fool" the stock ecu into doing what I want. Used a victor jr intake and mod. to fuel inject. using 42 # injectors. Running timing safe and fuel on the fat side durring this run. Have run a 7.22 and actually planning to run 6.90s after current mods.
That run was a 7.60 @ 94mph, it has run a 7.42@98. Been having clutch and spinning issues. Have addressed the clutch recently but have not been back to test. ( this is 1/8 mile)

how did you do a burnout in second gear??? do you just dump the clutch in second or do you start off in first and shift into second gear???

@hugoortiz05 yes you use just start in 2nd, 1st will not get up enough wheel speed.

if that is a hx 35 it is too small if it is a 40 or 45 it will work great. are you running a stick or automatic??

@aw73853 HX35 is still good for 450whp. It just doesnt become efficient until you turn up the boost.

This motor is bone stock as well as the heads.
