  • Saul Goodman!

  • The city of townsville!

  • Is Worthington's Law based on yearly income or net worth?

  • @enigma19833 Obvious troll attempt, 4/10. Good effort though, I'm sure you'll get a few outraged responses.

  • @MegaWugwug Not exactly a troll, I think he was reenacting the video.

  • @AxiomExperiment2 You're probably right, damned Poe's Law

  • @enigma19833 Watch the video again.

  • Is Tobias getting into the Meth game? I know the Blue Man Group hasn't really worked out, I figured Saul was going to introduce him to Heisenberg.

  • The hilariously inane and pathetic argument taking place in the comments below is almost as funny as the video itself.

  • @duffell Yea it's kind of disturbing to see just how far some people will go to defend a petty and obviously wrong point of view. I think the entire debate was because he refused to admit he was wrong about the word "pretentious". I finally decided to stop arguing with this asshole when I read some other comment on here that basically said it's not worth it to argue with certain people. The guy had nothing left to offer to the argument anyway, he was just reduced to making childish insults.

  • AND I'M BETTER THAN YOU BRAINIAC!!!

  • Steve Jobs watched this and said "Why is that peon speaking to me like this?"

  • That first picture of Jay Johnston kills me every time.

  • I love how they reference Daryl Strawberry, a douche athlete if there ever was one

  • Seeya later, St. Franny, ya schmuck!

  • Kedzie! Love the ponytail reveal.

  • guess what this Genious for a day does?

  • the announcer voice sounds JUST like the one from ren and stimpy. is it?

  • @ryanrule2 yep. that's tom kenny, i'm convinced he's done voice work for every cartoon that's been created since the 1990s

  • ya shmuck

  • There is so much great Mr show material, but this has got to be my favorite...

    It's gotta be...

That makes this my favorite piece of comedy, ever.

HOLY SHIT! Thats one for the grandkids.

Wait, Damnit! Larry Kleist is a great skit too...

    NOOOO!!!!

I almost made a decision in my life...

Forget about it... 24 is the highest number.

  • lmao @ his ponytail

  • I wonder if there's a way to modify Worthington's Law to apply to views on Youtube, i.e. the next time someone tries to tell me Lady Gaga is better than Bjork or Muse is better than Radiohead because they respectively have much more views on Youtube I can point out their flawed logic. More popularity equals better than? Not in this world full of idiots.

  • @irvingcsaltzburg Every time I think I've seen the most irrelevant subject leaps to Lady Gaga complaints in Youtube comments, someone manages to surprise me.

  • @evillaugher What the fuck do you mean irrelevant did you not read what I said? It's perfectly relevant, in fact I carefully explained in my last comment why it's relevant. The only reason I mention "her" is because she gets compared to Bjork a lot for some fucking reason even though Bjork's on another plane of existence in terms of musical talent, and I just happened to think of that for the analogy I used.

  • @irvingcsaltzburg I understood perfectly. I would just like to go to a single Youtube video without seeing yet another tenuous connection used to make a Lady Gaga complaint.

  • @irvingcsaltzburg Who is comparing Lady Gaga to Bjork? When does this ever happen? Everyone knows Lady Gaga makes pop music and Bjork makes music for self-congratulating self-appointed arbiters of culture to pat themselves on the back for pretending to like. It's like comparing apples to oranges, really.

  • @jono11 See, it's trolls like this guy is why irrelevant conversations about Lady Gaga persist on every fucking Youtube video. Now I have to take up comment space just to tell this fucking moron how much of a hypocrite he is for insinuating Bjork and her fans are pretentious as he described them in the most pretentious way imaginable. Just keep listening to what you consider pop music if true originality frightens you so much, it's best for brainless tools like you to stick to your comfort zone.

  • @irvingcsaltzburg

    1) You brought up Lady Gaga, son.

    2) Many Bjork fans are pretentious.

    3) My description of Bjork fans was not pretentious. It was arrogant. Learn the language you speak before you go around trashing people with it.

    4) Bjork doesn't frighten me. She bores me.

    5) You don't actually know what I listen to. You know why? Because I don't ejaculate it all over the internet to prove how smart I am.

    6) I still don't think anyone compares Lady Gaga to Bjork. Except you. For some reason.

  • @jono11

    1) I didn't expect to have some fucking idiot try to defend Lady Gaga's integrity, so I wasn't expecting to perpetuate this conversation.

    2) That's an idiotic assumption from someone who has obviously never met any of her fans.

    3) It was pretentious, it was an overinflated criticism of something you know nothing about, learn the language.

    4) You have shitty taste in music.

    5) See above

    6) Only morons compare the two, I never did asshole. I was pointing out a popular internet opinion.

  • @jono11

    1) I didn't expect to have some fucking idiot try to defend Lady Gaga's integrity, so I wasn't expecting to perpetuate this conversation.

    2) That's an idiotic assumption from someone who has obviously never met any of her fans.

    4) You have shitty taste in music.

    5) See above

    6) Only morons compare the two, I never did asshole. I was pointing out a popular internet opinion.

  • @irvingcsaltzburg

    1) I'm actually not defending Lady Gaga's integrity. If I'm doing anything, I'm just pointing out that comparing them is like comparing Jim Jarmusch with John McTiernan.

    2) I've met dozens of her fans. I'm friends with quite a few of them. Most are pretentious. I love them anyway. It's one of those complexities of life you seem to know nothing about.

  • @irvingcsaltzburg

    3) It really, really wasn't. Seriously, look up the definition of the word "pretentious." It was arrogant, it was insulting, it was dismissive. It was not pretentious.

    4) Based on one artist about whose quality we disagree?

    5) You still don't know what I listen to.

    6) You're still the only person I've ever seen compare the two. So who's the moron?

  • @jono11 At least you can admit you're an arrogant douche but that's only a by-product of your pretentiousness. I really don't see what's so hard to understand, it's pretty much impossible to be pretentious without being arrogant, you just happen to be one of those people. Perfect example is how you keep trying to use a checklist to discredit me when you obviously don't know what youre talking about. And theres only so many ways I can tell you I never compared the two, so I guess youre the moron.

  • @irvingcsaltzburg And you're the guy who still hasn't engaged my arguments. You're just repeating yourself over and over, ad nauseam.

  • @jono11 Where do you get the nerve to get pissed at me for repeating myself, I'm doing it for your benefit you fuckhead because apparently it bears repeating.

What I said: "Only morons compare the two, I never did, I was pointing out a popular internet opinion"

What you said afterward: "You're still the only person I've ever seen compare the two"

Explain to me how it's possible to argue with someone who just ignores what the other says, I'm curious to know, really.

  • @irvingcsaltzburg Yes, son. I get that you think people compare the two, but you've shown zero evidence of it. You just state something and expect everyone to believe you. So until you demonstrate that it is a popular internet opinion, you're the only one actually doing it!

You don't know the meanings of the words you use, you make sweeping character judgments based on faulty assumptions, you have a junior-high suburban punker's idea of what "artistic integrity" means...what are you good for?

  • @jono11 I don't know what part of "popular internet opinion" you don't understand retard. As a Bjork fan I watch a lot of her videos and from experience I've seen her compared to __ multiple times. And no, I'm not going to surf every youtube comment to cite a specific example for your benefit. I'm not the ultimate Internet authority, I can't just demonstrate a widespread opinion. If it's so hard for you to believe that most people have stupid opinions then you must be living under a fucking rock

  • @jono11 I will however explain to you why you're a pretentious loser so you can stop embarrassing yourself, just for your benefit. Apparently it doesn't occur to you that people can actually enjoy music you don't like, but if they do they're pretentious. That in itself is pretentious thinking, you place yourself on a higher intellectual level than all Bjork fans because if you can't get into her music how can they? I'm not going to deny some fans are pretentious but you just assume all of us are

  • @jono11 Not to mention you fancy yourself more intelligent than me despite the fact I have to explain to you how you're being pretentious because you don't know what the word "pretentious" means, or what a "popular internet opinion" is. If that's not exemplary of pretentiousness I don't know what is. But I guess you're right about my immature notions of artistic integrity because obviously only the most mature people think LG is highly respectable and original, right?

  • @irvingcsaltzburg Oh Irving. Are you still under the silly impression that I think Lady Gaga is highly respectable and original? I think she has a place the same way Die Hard movies and Madonna records do. You see, this is your problem: you think of everything in these blacks and whites. If you're older than 16, I'm shocked. You remind me of every suburban punker I used to know, so desperate to be countercultural that you'll attack anyone who even seems like he might be "The Man."

  • @jono11 And speaking of reading comprehension, I never claimed you thought anything of LG I was defending myself from what you thought my opinions were on artistic integrity. Just breathe deep and focus on each word intently next time and I'm sure your white, middle-school, rich kid mind will understand. See, I can make idiotic, wildly inaccurate assumptions too. I dont know why you favor thinking of me as a child though, that would only make it more embarrassing that I'm making you look foolish

  • @irvingcsaltzburg You are incorrect about the meaning of pretentiousness. You just are. You need to look it up in the dictionary. You also need to work on your reading comprehension: I didn't say that listening to Bjork makes a person pretentious. I said that pretentious people listen to Bjork. Can you figure out the very key difference between those two statements? I'm sure you can if you put your mind to it. You're a strong-willed young high school sophomore, you can get that done, right?

  • @jono11 I'm not really sure if it's logically possible to argue with you anymore, I've already carefully explained how you're pretentious and then you simply say I'm wrong because "I just am". And don't tell me what you meant about Bjork's fans, I understood perfectly. Every fucking band has some amount of pretentious fans so that statement would be pointless. Your intention was that you think her music and ALL her fans are pretentious. Which is the only reason we're having this petty argument.

  • @irvingcsaltzburg See how pathetic you've gotten, kiddo? You're now resorting to just flat-out telling me what I actually mean, since the words I've written don't support your wild-eyed insanity. And yes, you did make claims about my feelings on Lady Gaga. Multiple times. Oh, the poor child, he can't even keep his own rambling thoughts straight anymore. Someone do fetch his medicine.

  • SHUT UP CARUSO

  • Send this to bron-bron after last night

  • 1 artist: Drake.

  • I think about this video whenever someone tries to make a case as to why mitt romney and donald trump would make good presidents.

  • Love the Spongebob voice over

  • he looks like joe piscopo in this skit

  • The classic ponytail reveal.

  • @CaptainKrontos ponytail reveal...hahahaha

  • 16 people are better than you brainiac !!

  • :( I'm stupider than Mother Theresa.

  • Carl Espick is Scout

  • The reign of quantity over quality is the way of the modern west. This is an extremely accurate piece of social realism!

  • if yall would like this in non-ass quality, i uploaded it.

  • This is soooo fukkin funny is hard to breathj honestly lol in 2011 lmao this si soooo fukkin true lol wow ,, im having such a good laf at this rite now i love whoever posted it thx :)

  • Is this why reporters ask dumbshit actors their opinions about world affairs?

  • TOM KENNEY IS EVERYWHERE

  • I just mentioned this in my latest vid. This is probably my favorite sketch from the series, as it so clearly demonstrates how humans tend to think.

  • so shut up, caruso!

  • this is hilarious... cant believe that people over the age of 30 actually really do try to believe this stuff and try to compete... so many insecure, inferior people out there with small penises... yeah, had a guy tell me this once and he did make more money than I did... but i lived better than he, and I also banged his wife and his hot college age daughter, cummed in them both.

  • "Hey, guess who's better than van Gogh. Well let's see...after adjusting for inflation...almost everybody! He made Nothing!"

  • I can't watch Bob nowadays, without thinking of his great role in 'Breaking Bad'.

  • David Cross actually looks like a human with hair. hahaha.

  • David sounds/looks kinda like the ShamWow guy.

  • This video is the greatest explaination of our current society ever. Like ever.

    @JazzPierson52485

"Great Entertainers get paid; that is the proof of their success"

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA WAAAAHAHAHAHA hehehehehe AAAAAH! *wipes tears from eyes* XDXDXD

Thanks for the laugh dude. :)

  • When I was a kid, I always ran into to people who would counter my argument against obviously shitty musical artists with "He's making more money than you are!" and it made me so pissed off I couldn't see straight. Then when I was in Junior High, my mom's low-life boyfriend broke into the cable box behind our house and we acquired HBO. I saw the first Mr. Show episode when it aired, and was in love. Needless to say, when I saw this skit I nearly creamed my jeans.

  • Nerd Flaw Alert: Someone who makes more money than Bob is not beyond criticism. Just beyond criticism from Bob.

  • @CelebrityHotTub Or anyone above Bob's level, of course.

  • The pony tail makes it.

  • @bigtequila Me too - especially since the reveal isn't until 1:53.

  • haha way to go einstein

this show is on one where the reruns at on tv????

    slippin

  • lol!

  • see ya later St Franny, you schmuck

  • What the hell are you talking about people? This is a great sketch that shouldn't be spoilt by pathetic comments.

  • and I'm better than you, brainiac

  • Sometimes a person stops arguing when he discovers that his opponent is too ridiculous to bother with.

  • I used to deconstruct comedy too until I realized I was being an asshole.

  • Whatever you thought just now is wrong because I make more money than you.

    So shut up Caruso.

  • "This 'genius' was defending Einstein, by making a pointless argument for the purpose of berating somebody, building a straw man in the process. He admitted it in a horribly unfunny comment based on a straw man argument against another straw man argument. Now he's even dumber than Einstein. Way to go, EINSTEIN."

  • youre a tremendous faggot whoever you are

  • @JazzPierson52485 ooo, look who just took an intro to critical thinking class!!

"Great Entertainers get paid; that is the proof of their success" <-- Making money is only proof of their monetary success. You are wrongly assuming that people only create entertaining things to make money.

Also, two people don't have to do the same thing to be compared. A doctor can be taller than a lawyer. A teacher can be fatter than a pilot. One youtube commenter can be better than another.

  • "you mean my ex-siamese twin brother"

  • the ponytail makes it

  • i want a monkey toy that tells me my value as a human

  • This is so true.. anytime you try to say "Lil Wayne sucks", some moron will come back with "YEAH RIGHT HE MAKES MORE MONEY DAN YOU EVER WILL SO SHUT UP!!" .. pretty sure this skit is making fun of those idiots.

  • windows and mac are not companies.

    good job kid.

    also macs are for fags.

  • God damned Worthington's Law.

  • Canned laughter *headdesk*

  • It's not canned. Canned laughter is almost always a myth.

  • @tehmoogles: if you've ever seen the show, you see the audience.

    What is headdesk?

  • Can you apply worthington's law to things other than people? like say, companies for example. Windows is better than Mac. That settles that.

  • yess!!

  • WAY TO GO EINSTEIN!

  • i miss this show

  • Holy shit. Some fucking douche tried to pull worthington's law on me. I'm so glad the internet exists so I can send him this video.

    Thanks for the upload. :D

  • lol some bitch pulled this on me and I immidiately in front of like 8 people went into the full Worthington Law sketch verbatim in Tom Kenney voice and everything

  • shut her ass up very effectively too i might add

  • Comment removed

  • Such a great sketch, from an amazing show.

This is especially home hitting as everyone has seen someone defend a total douche with this defense.

Now he's about as dumb as Einstein! Way to go Einstein!

  • If you notice a lot of the time when David Cross plays douchebags, like this guy, he's got a pony tail.

  • I think that's what you call observational comedy.

  • This reminds me of dumbass rappers dissing rappers better than they are about record sales.

  • libertarianism.flv

  • he makes more money than you do.

  • and im smarter then you moron

  • That ponytail he's sporting is hilarious.

  • I love when it peeks out just a little from behind his head and the audience goes crazy

  • 'Way to go, Einstein.'

  • See ya later, Saint Franny, ya schmuck!!

  • That's right, Bob! Listen to your friend!

  • Kedzey Matthews!!

  • Quit smart with 68K views.

  • lol this reminds me of glengarry glen ross

  • So SHUTUP Caruso!

  • "...and I'm better than you, Brainiac!"

  • It should actually be called "Oprah's Law" because most morons consider her a genius beacuse she made a fortune exploiting women's stupidity.

  • Oprah or Dane Cook/Larry the cable guy/Carlos mencia who do the same on the male side. How either she or mencia got shows is beyond me, but I'm fairly certain there was prostitution involved.

  • That gay little ponytail is comedy gold!

  • Heh, they hid it until just the right time.

  • That awful ponytail kills me every time.

  • I love the utter contempt he has for anyone who makes less than him. God I miss this show.

  • "Now he's about he's about dumber than Einstein; Way to go Einstein!"

  • @videoguyy Actually, he says "Way to go, Einstein". He's calling the guy Einstein (as in sarcastically calling hima genius genius), not suggesting he's "going Einstein".

  • @videoguyy Way to butcher this line, Einstein!

  • @Thrashoholica he makes more money than you!

  • take that, forbes!

  • The guy below me is making $35,000 a month? He's even better than Sammy Hagar and Darryl Strawberry combined!

  • Who's better than St. Francis of Assisi? Daryl Strawberry! XD XD XD

  • awesome scetch, and it accurately portrays our culture. it doesnt matter what you do (or sell out to), all that matters is money

  • Kedzie!!!!!

  • THis is everyone argument when I say things like "50 Cent sucks, he's always saying some dumb shit."

  • what Episode is this??

  • This is off Season 3: "Bush is a Pussy" (actually the title, from the sign held up by one of the Siamese Twins)

  • Actually it's on David's shirt while his Siamese twin brother is coming back from Iraq.

  • Hilarious.

  • The video doesn't synch with the audio, and the audio is weak. I posted it on my MySpace profile anyway.

  • I'd share this with friends, but the audio sucks.

  • ..guess what this genius for a day does..

  • I want to see the next sketch now. Post more!

  • AWESOME!

  • See you later St. Franny you schumck!!

  • "and i'm better than you, brainiac!"

    fucking classic.

  • The Worthington Law? ROTF LOL!!

  • Now he's about as dumb as Einstein. Way to go, Einstein!

Thanks for posting this, any way to make the volume louder though?

  • to answer your volume question... Turn your own volume up?
