I find a grip better because going in for a clash youget a shock up through the handle and even on some hurleys get it when striking the ball so i grip all my hurleys!
All i can say about swinging on the Solitar is keep ur eye on the ball. nd always follow through... i mean start 4m 1 shoulder nd finish on another. lik golf

I can't agree with you more. Grip tape maes you lose real contact with the camann. As a football player myself I can't really comment on how it will affect a full game but I guess after the hands get sweaty the wood will absorb the sweat whereas with grip tape you'll get a sticky slippery layer of sweat between your hand and the tape. With regards to the straight arm golf style; Watch Paul Flynn take his frees today and you'll see golf seeping through.
Ahhch. I suppose it would be wrong for the Cats to lie down- It would show disrespect for the sport, but Waterford didn't deserve such a beating today. The Galway/Kilkenny game was great though.
Grip also stops the impact off the slittier from hurting yur hand

A lot of lessons have been learned since this vid was made. Griptape as a rule now. Choking up/shortend grip good too.
