This is a confusing issue. But what I gather from wikkipedia and other sites is that female lyricist Chiara Ferrau wrote the lyrics to Nella Fantasia, perhaps at the request of Sarah Brightman. Apparently, Sarah and Chiara have worked together several times. It is beautiful.
I really wish that Sarah would have done more staged opera in her career. With a voice like this, every major opera company in the world should be banging her door down with contracts!!!

I am glad she kept asking Maestro Ennio Morricone to allow her to write the lyrics of this master piece. One of my favorites. I admire both artists. They are genious in their own art fields.
There is also a completely different, English song called 'A Rose Among Thorns' performed by Dulce Pontes on the fine album "Focus" she did in Rome with the great Italian master.
That was gorgeous. Sent chills down my spine!

Apparently, you've never been to her concert. She never lip synching. This was in Sun City, South Africa in 1998. I was there.
