@Theocrooks Just because it's easier to get into the game doesn't make it scrubby, either. If that was the case, then why are the same people winning tournaments? Why is almost nobody playing MVC2 besides the hardcore players?
A lowered entry level =/= no skill. It just means the game is actually more accessible to newer players.

Do you know WHY it took 10 years to figure out MVC2? Easy: There was no reliable way to share info, and people also had the STSFN (Save That Shit For Nationals) mentality. If YouTube was around back then, MVC2 would have been figured out in at least half the time.

If you would like, I could give you 10 reasons, quickly, showing pretty obviously why mvc3 is a scrubby game. I don't recall anyone saying that they had a problem with newer players coming in. In fact, that's great- more competition. The game is weak though and really dumbed down (REALLY) from mvc2. I would call it quite scrubby.

If the game was as scrubby as you say it was, then once again, we wouldn't have the same high-level players winning tournaments and such. If you don't like it, that's fine; doesn't make it a scrubby game, though. Plenty of people are playing and enjoying it. If you want to keep playing the same 15-20 people at MVC2, be my guest.

You can pretty much just walk up and play good the first time. Execution? Not in mvc3. I have found nothing hard to do in that game so far, within 20 minutes of practicing it. Mag ROM? esay. Dante Combo's? Easy. Task. Easy. Spidey. Probably the same. You obvioulsy didn't play high tier in mvc2.

Also, hopping off of your high horse would help you realize that just because YOU may be good at execution doesn't mean EVERYONE ELSE is. This is where me calling you an elitist comes to truth. Having good execution doesn't necessarily mean you win, because you also have to account for playing smart. You may know combos, but can you win? Doesn't sound like it to me.
