hmmm... well I did this video quite a while back. If i were able to do it over (which i may still), I would have taken sometime to memorize the lyrics, because otherwise my facial expression as well as sometimes my musical expressiveness becomes kinda stoic cause I'm reading and thinking a lot. But for covers, I would say make it your own- change the key, the melody, the style to fit your voice, and just play it in the way that is most natural for you.

I just thought about the idea of you smiling while singing this song . . . talk about awkward. Your voice, and guitar playing are nice. Guitar isn't complex but so on point, you make it apparent you are hearing the music, not just reciting it.
