I wouldn't buy that guitar if I had the money. All its good for is keep it in a locked case and take it out only to show it to somebody. Completely useless! I have a Martin D16 Acoustic/Electric and it sounds great especially when its got new strings. Personally, I think it sounds as good or better than any Gibson Acoustic.

A unadorned guitar always sounds better than one blathered in MoP or tortoise shell.....you will notice most of the best sounding instruments don,t even have a pickguard......and thats surely what guitars are about "sounding great" or perhaps I,ve been misled somewhere along the way....

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooo nice. I went to the Martin guitar factory in Nazareth, PA and there was a museum type display of historic Martin guitars. It was really nice. The 1,000,00th serial numbered guitar was beautiful with a cherubic type inlay embedded on the back of the guitar.

I'm not supposed to say this but I actually got to play the History of Flight Martin Acoustic for 20 minutes. It sounds like pure heaven. As far as I know there's only one in the world and costs 150,000. It's still on display at Guitar Center Manhattan awaiting a buyer last time I checked.
