Thats amazing how its abandon & everything is still standing, The old park near my house everything was either auctioned off, or burned down by kids, its gone except some of the roller coaster.. most of that collapsed
You havnt been to the one in California recently I see? I heard the same thing but I see the park offer massive specials. That tells me their in trouble and need money
Demolition has started but it isn't complete. I think there isn't that much they have demolished so far, but I do know for sure a crew went around last summer and marked the still standing remains with red X's. I haven't been there in a long time but I plan on going back one last time since this park is in the city where I live.
How do you get into the park? When I went there, there were high fences up with no tresspassing warnings. What happens if you get caught inside the park?
so what is the story behind that park? Is it haunted? Did peopl die? It looks cool and spooky... But I wanna know the groosum facts. Inform me please.
I actually was planning on doing that making it look like something comes out of the woods and kill us but i couldnt get it together in time maybe next time lol
The "teacups" are actually a ride known as "Tumblebug". There are only 3 left in the US and 1 in the UK. One of the three is that fella right there that's been rotting away since '77. There's one at Conneaut Lake Park, in PA. Not quite sure where the other one is, but it's a fun ride. Wish the video had been a little longer, but thanks for posting it. :)
Only 2 full-sized Tumble Bugs remain operating today; 1 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and 1 in Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania. All fullsize instances are made by Traver Engineering. The ride also exists in a kiddie form. The length of the full-size Tumble Bug is 100 feet in diameter. The full-size has 6 cars, while the kiddie version had 4 to 3 cars. There are more kiddie versions operating today than there are full-sized.
Conneaut's closed. Sad. They were trying to save the park, but when the ballroom burned down (arson is suspected), many of the rides and vehicles stored there were destroyed. Sad.
hi yes blackpool pleasure beach uk had the last tumble bug there but they only just got rid of it. it was standing but not operating for about 4yrs. i miss this sort of ride.
é verdade que estão reconstruindo o local?

I read that S Flags filed for bankruptcy but it wouldn't affect their parks in the US and Canada. They are merely " restructuring.

Sure sounds like it,esp. with massive offers. The only time I went there was in 1992 or so.

Great footage. Not a lot of the old parks left. But videos like yours help to keep them alive or dead as the case may be. Loved it.
