  • Steve Reeve....was the best....

  • "I think his beauty still stands by todays standards" It almost sounds like your saying today has higher standards.... What ?

  • Obrigado por nos emocionar Jeffrey

  • The most handsome man in the world and a great actor is Christian Meier of Peru. His mother was Miss Universe 1957.

  • The most beautiful/handsome actor I've ever seen was John Derek, when he was a newcomer. He was in a Bogart movie, in b/w; yet, he just took my breath away.

He married beautiful actresses after divorcing his first wife. Linda Evans and Bo Derek were the ones I remember. Ursula Andress? Will have to check it out.

After him in looks, I have to say, Tyrone Power and Errol Flynn. I read that when they came into a room together, one could hear a pin drop!

  • Heavens to Murgatroid! Wonderful montage....KUDOS and CONGRATS! Expert handling of pics and music! The late great Mr Hunter was indeed one of the most handsome of screen stars. And a very good actor in the right role. He was almost Capt Kirk in TV's "Star Trek". I've read his wife convinced him to turn down the role, seeing TV as a comedown. She was wrong...his feature film career wasn't going well & he was soon dead as a result of brain injury due to a fall at home. VERY SAD !!! :(

  • Warren Beatty was goodlooking when he was young. Remember his film with Vivien Leigh where he plays an Italian gigolo? Also a perfect face.

  • We studied his films in film school. Hunter had the PERFECT face and the camera loved him! He was photogenic at every angle .... and he was a very good actor. It's a shame he had such a short life.

  • Yeah, but why do they have to have their noses surgically altered? You can always see the fake nose.

  • @goldkhw Jeffrey Hunter did not have a fake nose...I am his son, and he never had any surgery

  • @goldkhw Jeffrey Hunter was totally natural, his looks were never altered by surgery.

  • His beauty is beyond the time, he would be one of the most handsome man today.

  • How can one man be so gorgeous? I mean, the man's face is utterly perfect...almost like a manequin. Good God. So beautiful!

  • if he were gay i could love him 1:20

  • What the hell is Robert Wagner doing to poor old Jeffrey at 1min 20.

  • Is it true that he was going to be Captain Kirk in Star Trek?

  • The handsomest man in The Hollywood Film Industry ever with the best voice of jazz forever.

  • Does anyone know if Jeffrey Hunter ever did a T.V interview?

  • Lol..he was going to play Mike Brady of the brady bunch but he wasn't allowd to cause sherwood shwartz (the creator) thought that Jeffrey was to attractive to play a down to earth architect..I find that kindoff funny that he was to attractive to play the role hhahahaah

  • Sir(s): If I may, even I as a Most Straight Arrow, want to "make" a pretty man stay around where I am. I must enjoy this, for I enjoy a pretty man's smile and laughter with Me. This is not merely a Lady's Fantasy, for I confide in those I am Most Like, and, of course, this is the Self-Confidence that I am disliked for emphasizing and embuing. Thank you. Et Merci beaucoups. Have a Nice Day, Godspeed. --J.D.

  • I was born in 1963 and my parents loved watching movies w/ Jeffrey in them. I remember how stunning his blue eyes were.......

  • Right.

I have two words regarding Hunter: Errol Flynn.

  • A lovely man, inside and out, and he left too soon. Drop dead gorgeous...the eyes, the smile, the face, PERFECTION!

  • At 0:15 he looks just like Cheyenne Jackson!

  • Sure !! Handsome men. He died to younger Wath Happen?

  • @MOSHMIRP

He tripped and fell down the stairs and broke his neck i think.

  • Freeze it at 1:23 WTF!!

  • he is good looking but paul newman beats him in my book.

  • YA HE IS GAY FOR SURE!!!! I ALSO MET HIS LOVER!!!! HE TOLD ME THAT JEFF HAS A VERY SMALL AND SMELLY UNCUT COCK....BAD BREATH ....AND SMELLY FEET!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @dannys2222 LOL. Jealosy is a bitch.

  • @nadoeloiskat NO ONE IS A BITCH HERE BUT U BITCH!!!!

  • You don't get much better than this. I tend more toward darksexy myself, but this man had killer blue eyes, and as a couple of people have mentioned, a fine actor also.

  • i think robert wagner is a closet case

  • I agree with Plato in that beauty is not in the eye of the beholder but is established in great works of art. Anyone can see how this man's facial features are in synch with the great sculptures of Western art.

  • I guess it's subjective:

John Gavin and Paul Newman )when he was a young man) would be my pics.

In terms of absolutely beauty, I don't that you can beat Paul Newman when he was in his 20s/30s

  • Was he murdered?

  • @bob701z No, he became ill in Mexico, then coming back home, had a spell in which he fell, and died in surgery. If you go to Wikipedia, you'll get the full complete story.

  • Jeffrey Hunter had the kind of handsomeness that might be described as surreal, so intense it doesn't seem quite real and yet hyper-real at the same time. Those intense blue eyes of his were amazing, reminiscent of those of French actor Alain Delon, another handsome knockout, when he was in "Purple Noon." And yes, Mr. Hunter's life was definitely cut FAR too short.

  • A beautiful guy - and what better accompaniment than Ella's beautiful rendition of The Man I Love - thank you for this.

  • wow his face is flawless... hes not wearing anymake up at all rite? if not.. WOW...

  • I would cast my vote for Gardner McKay.

  • He looks a bit like the guy out of Due South, Paul Gross, that Canadian guy?!

  • Comment removed

  • That's captain Pike from the original Star Trek pilot and also featured in "the menagerie" in the first season.

  • his eyes amizn ... am stright just saying ...

  • cute...

  • Beautiful tribute. Wonderful song. I liked the photo of Hunter and RJ Wagner in the pool -- another knock out.

  • great actor.

    how he died?

  • @FrancescoScasciboy He had 2 strokes at age 42, fell down a flight of stairs, and died from complications of the fall/strokes.

  • He was beautiful ^^

  • He was one of my fav actors. He died too early, He had the most gorgeous smile. I liked John Gavin too.

  • eu não acredito nele morresse cedo jovem aos 43 anos, como e possivel?

  • Wasn't he the original captain on Star Trek?

  • @gotch09

    Yep!

  • I think he was the one that play jesus christ,,the king of king

  • READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great news! The superb bio All About Jeffrey Hunter is now at kindle and it is just a $1.09!

  • This is so stupid. He's not even close to being the best looking. I see better looking guys than him everyday, myself being one of them. You would have to see everysingle man in the world to draw such a conclusion.

  • bellissimo meraviglioso ha due occhi come che sembrano due stelle peccato che e' morto cosi' presto.

  • I was wondering why people kept saying I looked like Captain Pike from Star trek, so I took a look on here and now I know.

  • God bless Jeffrey.....sad to hear that he passed away so young....he was good actor....he had great beautiful blue eyes....handsome face....Robert Wagner miss him greatly....friend! I enjoyed to watch his films....to remember him

  • Kings of Kings was never a flop..it made good money,,and a star out of Hunter..the best portrayl of jesus in any movie...Hunters voice is very convincing in the movie..it draws your attention to him remarkably..and yet jesus was the same-he had to have a very convincing voice to lure and convert many thousands of people just the same.....something for everyone to really think about.

  • dude made a bunch of flicks b/4 that epic flop as christ, king of kings, have hated remakes since, was one helluva actor, then downhill,a couple of exceptions, sgt.rutledge and capt.christopher pike.from star trek,a desilu production from the mid 60's when Lucille Ball ran the company b/4 selling to paramount.married to actress that was on genital hospital,on abc tv,still on the air,my god, nurse jesse somethin and a dude from ourgang/littlewascascals steve berendino, rip mr.hunter, you are remembered

  • Captain Pike was badass!!!! The early voyages comics really drew Mr Hunter accurately

  • he was utterly listless as Cpt Pike thank good Shatner got the leading role eventually

  • I am a guy and i always looked to Jeffrey Hunter as a good looking sexy guy. One can only dream.

  • I only just started looking into the life of Jeff Hunter. I was always fascinated about what happened to the 'cool dude' that skippered the Enterprise in the 'Cage' pilot episode of Star Trek. I 'honestly' never even knew he had died all those years ago, and it's a great shame and very sad. I wonder if he would still be with us today if he hadn't turned down Star Trek?

Rest in peace Jeff. I enjoyed your acting very much.

  • Very handsome guy, indeed. The most beautiful man ever to grace the celluloid however.....has to be John Gavin...the closeup of Mr. Gavin at the end of your clip (thanks!) from Spartacus with the great Laughton....is probably the most beautiful shot of a man on film....ever...surpasses in my honest opioion the great Brando in Streetcar.....as far as just plain virile beauty.

  • @russellcusick You are so right about John Gavin....love love love him!

  • @russellcusick John Gavin was no where near as good looking as Jeffrey Hunter and he wasn't that good an actor. How come John Gavin wasn't that big a success if he was so good looking?

  • @russellcusick Agreed about John Gavin, Jeffery Hunter, and please do not forget the thee, Errol Flynn!

  • beautful demais!

  • Combine "createspace" and ".com" and "/" and "3383532" and "/" and see where you get. Bio has dedication to Bill Shatner!

  • That's a link to buy a great bio on Jeffrey Hunter called All About Jeffrey Hunter (can't combine the link out on youtube).

  • jeffrey hunter was a very handsome man, and sad he didnt live a full life.

to -peterfirthfan, you are disgusting, filthy and wretched, how dare you say horrible things like that about a person who is no longer here!

you are mentally disturbed and a comment like that should not be allowed here!

how do you live with yourself!

  • cool

  • It´s so sad, that he, extremely unhappy both in his private life and career, became a really tragic figure during the last years of his life and died so tragically just when he found his wife Emily and was happier than ever. His wife never really recovered and never married again.

Anthony Perkins was together with TAB Hunter btw, I didn´t find a connection with Jeffrey...Anyway, I hope, he´s in peace now.

  • I really enjoyed him in King of Kings

  • Jeffrey Hunter was bisexual.

  • did his three wives know that?

  • Your comment is tasteless and disrespectful and doesn´t belong here and I´m wondering why you visited this site. People who really KNEW him remember him as "the finest and most decent man I´ve ever known", or "the only good looking actor I ever met, who wasn´t hopelessly in love with himself". He comes of as a man with good manners, polite and friendly to everyone. That´s all that matters to me..

  • Thank you for this loving tribute to Jeffrey Hunter. He was truly a beautiful, beautiful man. His eyes were mesmerizing and will remain so as long as people like you keep him "alive" through media such as this!!!

  • Wowowow... I found the man of my dreams! this guy is/was gorgeous!

  • cmon: there are plenty (but never enough) of beautiful men in the world: in movies, fashion, sports; in my city; black, white, latin, asian, etc, etc, etc...

  • He's not that good looking...

Look up Alain Delon. Now that guy is a beast.

  • those eyes though honey...Alaid doesnt have those eyes

  • Alain has better eyes.

  • nice but not my style at all

  • A very underated actor. How tragic and sad that he passed away suddenly at such a young age! Thanks for posting this beautiful tribute to him! :)

  • He was a great, talented actor. I love his Christopher Pike´s performance. He is better than Kirk...

  • Yes I agree but william shatner doesnt he said jeff hunter is oh boy look at me im traveling through space .

  • ella, but no one, no one sings it like you...r.i.p. my'lady

  • yes, he was straight. he had the most amazing, intense blue eyes. and he's the definative movie jesus. i guess he died pretty soon after filming the 2-part star trek episode 'the menagarie'.

  • he was not in the menagarie , he was in the the cage ,star trek's pilot . the menagarie starred sean kennell as capt pike in the wheel chair , kennell would later play LT. depaul on the series , but all the jeff hunter scenes are all stock photage from the cage

  • He was a good looking dude. and no im not gay.

  • I love Jeffrey Hunter, he was great in King of Kings, the Searchers, and also in the pilot of the original Star Trek.

  • He plays Jesus in King of kings (1961). Check it up this Easter!

  • Ur right ! O.O

    He's BEAUTIFUL <3 <3 <3

  • i think that jon-eric hexem, i think that was his name, reminded me of jh, both were very handsome and unfortunately died too young.

  • Oh yes...he is very much that drop dead in your tracks looks, much like Jeffrey Hunter.

  • &T FOREVER!!!!

  • Do you think that Casper Van Dien is the next Jeffery Hunter?

  • no. I think Jeffrey is incomparable.

  • OK--I do understand....but what about Alain Delon? Check him out!

  • yummmy

  • HHHHHHOT!!

  • I never get tired of looking at Jeffrey Hunter. I must have seen his movies too many times to count!

  • yea, he's like a classic song, you could listen to it right now and still not get tired of it.

  • they say your eyes are the window into your Soul, Well if thats the case Jeffrey is a saint, his eyes were just like two shining jewels, a great actor also.

  • yeah!! the role of JESUS on KING OF KINGS was perfect to him. That face so georgeous and sweet!!

  • @mickeyh1961 Just because those are beautiful, doesn't mean he's an angel?!

  • so handsome. They don't come like this very often. Those eyes hypnotize.

  • i was named after him too jeffrey hunter

  • Great actor, wonderful man!

  • He looks like a morph of Ray Liotta and Cary Elwes. The result...perfection!

  • I was named after him and Jeff Chandler. Grew up watching him in King of Kings, which is one of my dad's favorite movies.

Beautiful man, and I love Ella Fitzgerald. She rocks.

  • I got to know him when he played Jesus..in the ( King of Kings ) but my question is how did he die ? He was so young now that I'm 47......

  • He died mid 1969 from a cerebral hemorrhage. It was rumoured to have been suicide but this was definitely not true and probably mischief. He did a lot of work in 50s war movies, Starred in Temple Houston ( as Temple Houston ) with Jack Elam and played the captain on the pilot for Star trek. Sad loss indeed.

  • whats Robert Wagner doing to him?

  • nice package in the swim suit shot

  • What a great tribute to an incredibly handsome and talented man who left us far too soon! I really enjoyed this video - thank you so much for taking the time to create this wonderful way to honor Jeffrey Hunter's memory, dakota.

  • Thank you JHFan for the comment and compliment. Truly a "movie star" in every sense of the word. I'm happy to see that there are many of us Jeff Hunter fans out there 40 years later. :)

  • Lovley tribute to Jeffrey - love the song too! Great photos!

  • Thank you - coming from one fan to another - truly a compliment. :)

  • WOW!! 2 video tributes for Jeffrey in 2 weeks. It's so hard to believe he's been gone for 39 yrs. He will remain forever young and gorgeous. So glad we have access to his films and will remember him always.

  • Yes! I was too young to miss him when he died, but he is always the most beautiful man I've ever seen. :) Thank you for commenting.
