The attendance was 36,000 for that game. It was a record for the new stadium for a football match which I don't think has been beaten since. Let's hope there is as good a crowd on Sunday...

@downesy32 Its not an Aviva Stadium record, its a record for an FAI Ford Cup final. The stadium has sold out for football games many a time, think Russia 2010, Armenia 2011 and Manchester United v Airtricity XI.
